FC Sutton HKER 0️⃣ - 1️⃣ The Elms

A statement win against a strong opposition.

It was a fairly even first half with Elms keeper Elsky making two smart saves👌

We came out in the second half with the right mindset and that showed in the early stages 🔥

With 10 minutes to go, the gaffer tweaked the formation putting the OAP up top and BOSH, you’d blink and you would miss the impact 🫣

We saw the game out after that, a top dogged performance on a pretty poor boggy pitch. Everyone played their part, back line and midfield were immense 🧱

We now move on to the Surrey Cup where we look to write history again 📖

Probably our best performance of the season that should have been topped off with more goals and a clean sheet, but 3 points are 3 points .

After a narrow defeat to Westside A last weekend (apologies no content on this), we needed a reaction and that’s exactly what we got!

First game of the season, First win of the season!

Elms off to a great start to their 2025/26 league campaign with a 2-1 win against Sporting Kitz.

The game got a little nasty towards the end and no one wants to see that in Saturday League Football but the Elms held strong to see out the victory.
