MH Sports started well, playing the ball round nicely then 14 minutes is nicked a good goal through rich, assisted by Indi. On the 29th minute saw Lions make it 1 - 1. Then a horror tackle came from the Lions Keeper (Should have seen Red, but escaped with a yellow card) saw him narrowly miss our player and clatter his own man. (Dangerous with intent). Then heads went down and on 33 minutes lions made it 2-1. After half time the banter was flying all over the pitch. Changes were made and we had some chances, hitting the bar. On 52 minutes with a few mistakes at the back Lions made it 3 - 1, with changes made and heads down, Lions made it 4-1 on 75 minutes to wrap up the game.

Great match today, shows how far we have come as a team in our short space of time being together. Our rout started off as Aza was brought down in the box to kick it off with a Penalty. Confidently converted by Aza. Chad then made it 2-0 with a neat finish. Some great give and go (Slick) football was played shortly before Chads goal from outside the Box. 3-0 , A Great worked goal from Aza, with a brilliant headed goal from Joshs cross. Second half we rang the changes from the first whistle and Bushbury Rovers manages to get a goal back

MH Sports Vs Walsall Wood FC. Not the result we wanted today. Heads dropped as soon as we conceded a penalty which ultimately set the tone for the rest of the games. Started the second half and started to pepper the opposition goal. Unfortunately we just couldn't get the ball across the line.

1st Preseason game under MH Sports. Unfortunately an 8-2 loss but a great game to watch, improvement to follow on. As we gel, we get better, it will all come together, well done lads

That's our season now at an end and what a season it was 😭

Christmas time was especially tough with us about to fold, however with the help from the MH managers we kept going and grew stronger 💪

Alot of games just didn't go our way but we saw the season out 👏 unfortunately now R.Brooks has now decided to depart the club as manager but has decided to stay on as part time player 🥰 we have all wished R.Brooks the best and thank him so much for what he's done the past 2 years 🫡

We now have 2 new managers come in who have got experience as players in the WDSFL and also as assistants and hoping to put their heads together and get the ball going ;) Their plan is to go into the pre season fresh and giving all players equal game time and build with the lads who have stayed and new who have joined.

So we welcome J.Small and B.Edwards who will take the reins and have the full backing of the MH committee ♥️

We want to thank all the people who supported MHS and R.Brooks, we wish all the departing players all the best in their future and hope all our supporters keep supporting us ⚽
