BRITISH SUPER ENDURANCE CUP

Championship Standings โ€“ The First Ever Cross-Discipline Champions

PRESS RELEASE

History has been made with the conclusion of the first-ever British Super Endurance Cup, a new championship created to bring together two very different disciplines of personal watercraft racing โ€” OCR offshore racing and the British Jetsport Championship endurance series.

The concept was simple but demanding: find the riders capable of performing across both offshore and closed-course endurance racing.

Competitors had to adapt from the unpredictable conditions and challenges of OCR offshore competition to the intense, close-quarters endurance racing of British Jetsport. It created a championship where outright speed alone wasnโ€™t enough โ€” consistency, reliability, fitness, racecraft and the ability to adapt were all essential.

After the combined results from both disciplines, James Bushell has made history as the first-ever British Super Endurance Cup Champion, finishing the championship with a commanding 360 points.

Rory Collingbourne secured second overall with 284 points, while Matty Wardman completed the inaugural championship podium in third with 235 points.

FINAL CHAMPIONSHIP TOP 10

1. James Bushell โ€” 360 points
2. Rory Collingbourne โ€” 284 points
3. Matty Wardman โ€” 235 points
4. Finn Hill โ€” 203 points
5. Jack Izzard โ€” 184 points
6. Elliot Cable โ€” 170 points
7. Jordan Griffiths โ€” 163 points
8. Andrew White โ€” 153 points
9. Steve Pidsley โ€” 144 points
10. Sean Hughes โ€” 132 points

The inaugural Super Endurance Cup has demonstrated exactly what can be achieved when different areas of the sport come together.

OCR offshore racing and British Jetsport endurance each require their own skills, machinery preparation and racing approach. Combining the two created a genuine all-round test and gave competitors the opportunity to race outside their normal discipline.

Most importantly, the championship has brought two racing communities together under one competition.

A huge congratulations goes to James Bushell, who will forever hold the distinction of becoming the first British Super Endurance Cup Champion, along with Rory C 21/08/2026

๐Ÿ† SUPER ENDURANCE CUP โ€” WHAT A FINISH! ๐Ÿ†

A huge thank you to all the organisers, teams, racers, marshals and everyone involved in bringing two fantastic race series together to create the Super Endurance Cup. What an incredible event and a brilliant way to finish the series! ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŒŠ

Caernarfon was a double-points round, meaning there was even more on the line than just the final points of the Super Endurance Cup. The results also counted towards the OCRDA Offshore Championships, making it a hugely important weekend for everyone competing.

A massive congratulations to James Bushall on taking the overall Super Endurance Cup victory ๐Ÿฅ‡๐Ÿ† โ€” thoroughly deserved!

And what a weekend for our own NWS Racing rider Rory Collingbourne! ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Rory finished RUNNER-UP in the Super Endurance Cup ๐Ÿฅˆ, but also took P1 at Caernarfon in the OCRDA Offshore
Championship points! ๐Ÿฅ‡๐Ÿ’ช

So, a fantastic result all round and another huge achievement for Rory and the NWS Racing team. We couldnโ€™t be prouder of the way he has performed throughout the season.

A massive thank you once again to everyone who made the Super Endurance Cup possible and to every racer who put on such a fantastic show.

Two championships, one incredible weekend, and plenty more to come! ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ†

๐ŸŒŠ Keep your Yamaha WaveRunner in top condition with these 4 simple maintenance tips:

โœ… 1. Flush the engine
After every ride in saltwater, flush your engine with fresh water to help prevent corrosion and keep it running smoothly.

โœ… 2. Wash & dry
Give your WaveRunner a thorough rinse and dry after every outing to remove salt, sand and grime, helping protect the finish.

โœ… 3. Check the battery
Regularly inspect your battery and keep it charged, especially if your WaveRunner won't be used for a while.

โœ… 4. Store it properly
Store your WaveRunner in a dry, sheltered location with a cover to protect it from the elements and keep it ready for your next adventure.

A little maintenance goes a long way in keeping your WaveRunner performing at its best all season long.

What a weekend at West Bay for NWS Racing! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ

Rory Collingbourne 05 was absolutely on fire, taking P1 in all four races with incredible pace and consistency.

Sunday's opening race brought challenging weather conditions, forcing a last-minute course change. Unfortunately, an error from Rory on the start line took him to the back of the pack but what followed was nothing short of unbelievable, he fought his way through the field to cross the line in 1st place.

Despite the incredible comeback, a 3-minute penalty was applied dropping him down the order and leaving him 2nd overall for the weekend.

It's a tough result to accept after the amount of hard work, dedication and outright speed shown all weekend, but that's racing. We take the positives, learn from the setbacks, and come back even stronger.

A huge thank you to everyone who supports NWS Racing, our sponsors, team, family and fans. On to the next round! ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿ†๐Ÿš€
