The stigma that men don't talk needs to be broken, men if you need help, speak out, you will be heard. TETC are one of many charities and organisations out there designed to offer support to men who need it

As a team we raised £1300 for Tough Enough To Care at the end of last season and to have these guys on our kits and upcoming training wear is an honour

RESULT AND TODAYS SQUAD 🔵⚫️

AFC Goldthorne 1 - 0 Bushbury Hill

A very good result today, in a game where we didn't dominate the ball, we soaked up pressure well, took our chance when Tyler lobbed the Bushbury goalkeeper with a header.
A game with few chances at either end, Bazza forcing a save with a good strike in the 1st half, as well as Rich making a good save to keep Bushbury out in the first half
Neither side were able to create many chances in the second half, a physical but well battled game from both sides.

We wish Bushbury Hill FC the very best for the upcoming season, a good group of lads and good squad of players 🤝🏻

We go into our final pre season game next Sunday as we travel to Tipton Town

Pre season 4 out of 5 sees us host Bushbury Hill this morning, a strong test for the lads against a side that's had a positive pre season like ourselves. Should be a good one and we're ready for it 👊🏻

PRE SEASON GAME 4

Our final game in Burntwood this week as we host Bushbury Hill from Division 3 of the Wolverhampton League. After last weeks victory against Bushbury Athletic, sundays game will be a strong test for the lads this week as Bushbury themselves have had a good pre season so far.

The lads are ready, looking forward to this one, the hard work has been put in and the start of the season keeps getting closer

AFC Goldthorne 3 - 2 Bushbury Athletic

A mixed game today, but a win nonetheless ✅️

1st half we we're very promising, could've and should've had 3 or 4 goals from that half alone today with some close offside calls denying Tyler a worldie and a 1v1 opportunity, a goal for Tyler following a header from Danny made it 1-0, Henson with a massively deflected free kick made it 2-0. A defensive error allowed Bushbury their 1st and back into the game but we went into the break ahead
2nd half we weren't at the level we set out, playing ourselves into trouble and making it easier for the opposition to get back into the game, to which they did equalise. Last 20 minutes we did improve and Danny popped up with the winning goal in final minutes to take a deserved win based on our overall performance from today's game.

MOTM Mr Danny Knowles, his 4th assist of pre season and the winner to add to it 👊🏻

We wish Bushbury the best of luck and will see them in the league at some point.

We host Bushbury Athletic today at Burntwood Leisure Centre this morning, the lads are looking to bounce back after last weeks defeat

Big performance needed today as we get closer to the first week of the league 👊🏻

Our Wolverhampton Sunday League Division 4 opponents 🤝🏻

Looking forward to the season, some good tests in this league and some new teams added into the mix, but the aims of a successful season still remain 👊🏻
20 league games and we will be in 3 Cup competitions, the Tom Bird Cup (division 4), the C E Yardley Cup (division 3 and 4) and the Charity Cup (all 4 divisions), all up for grabs this year - the lads are determined to make this season a good one 💯
