Happy New Year!….and start the way you mean to go on. Paul and I got up and did the Guildford Parkrun 25.29 (we also did the Woking Parkrun on Saturday 25.02). Followed by a bit of messing about on the river

Setbacks and niggles gallore right now but still heading in the direction of Hyrox on Sun 26 Nov in London. I’m just hoping to make the start line as woefully under prepared. So I woke up and fancied doing a shoulder workout so that is what I did!

After a whole week of cycling , my focus must now to turn to Hyrox London. For my second crack at Hyrox and to beat my previous time of 1.35.11. I’m quite behind in Hyrox specific training so now really need to get focused ready for Nov 26th at the Excel centre 😅

When you realise that accepting the invite to ride Palace to Palace 10days before the event was probably not a good idea.

Serviced bike, bought some padded shorts and today did all my training for the event in the one day. A 20mile ride. A little more confident that as a non cyclist I should be able to make it around 45miles this Sunday 😬

Three generations on a segway!! Great fun 😀 And only one fell off….poor mum 😂

First time taking our children to a large sporting event. The London Diamond League held at the Olympic stadium. Some really great performances today. I grew up following athletics so pleased that the kids have an interest too.
