Changing the way our customers experience the game of golf No one could accuse Pyrford of being just another golf venue.

Former Ryder Cup players, Peter Allis and Clive Clarke have created a golf course of the highest standards that carries their inimitable hallmark of testing the very best players but affording the club golfer a great deal of enjoyment too. Pyrford is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty and wildlife. Ringed by magnificent woodland the fairways weave between sculptured mounds and the 23 acr

The forecast doesn't run this place

Yes, we've seen the forecast too. And no, we're not going to pretend it looks perfect.
Here's the thing: some of the best rounds at Pyrford happen under a grey sky.

Fewer people second-guessing it means a quieter course, a lake that looks even better with a bit of drama behind it, and a Lounge that's just as good a place to land whatever the clouds decide to do.

Chelsea Vs Brighton
Come for the football, stay for everything else.

Chelsea take on Brighton this Sunday afternoon, and The Lounge at Pyrford Lakes is where you want to be for it.

Screens across the room, bi-folds open to the lake, the pizza oven doing its thing, and a crowd that’s here because they want to be. Kick-off’s 2pm — get in early and claim your spot before the room fills up.

Liverpool v Nott’m Forest

Liverpool host Nott’m Forest this Saturday lunchtime, and there’s nowhere better to watch it than The Lounge at Pyrford Lakes. Screens up, doors open to the lake, pizza oven going, and a crowd that’s actually there for it. Kick-off’s 12:30 — get here early, the good seats don’t hang about.

SUMMER PATIO PARTY

Cocktails, a DJ and a live BBQ on the terrace. Sunday 30 August, 3pm till late.
Seven hours on the terrace with the doors open to the lake. A DJ playing the good stuff — house, not Magic FM.

A live grill going all afternoon. Cocktails in hand, the sun going down over the water. No tee time required, no golf necessary. Just a proper summer party at the best spot in Surrey to have one.

Every hole deserves a plan. Not a swing thought — a plan.

What's the format today? Stroke play? Match play? Do you have a partner, or is it just you against the card? Get that sorted first, because it changes everything about how you should play the next four hours.

Here's a scenario. Small-money game, three mates, skins on the line. You're loving the skins — who doesn't — but really, deep down, you're chasing a personal best. So how do you play this hole?

It's time to think
A playing lesson is one of the best ways to build your game across every dimension that actually matters. So here's the challenge — to you, and to us: how much better could your mental game get?

Only one way to find out.

Come for the golf, stay for everything else. Or skip the golf entirely and come straight for the party — you’re welcome here either way.

What’s on
The DJ — Spinning from mid-afternoon into the evening. The volume’s at eight out of ten, the way we like it.

The grill — Live BBQ on the terrace all day. Smash burgers, low and slow, the smell drifting across the lake. Yes, the sausage rolls are involved.

The cocktails — Full bar, long list, ice-cold. Grab one, find a spot on the terrace, watch the light change over the water.

The setting — Bi-fold doors open, terrace in full swing, the lake doing what the lake does. This is what a Saturday should feel like.

Your Weekend Starts Here!
The BMW Championship's on all weekend — every shot analysed, every leaderboard refreshed every ninety seconds. Great TV. Not exactly a great Saturday.

Here's the better option: 20°C, sunny intervals, barely a breath of wind — both days. The terrace is open, the grill's on, and there's a tee time out there with your name on it. Considerably less commitment than four days in front of the golf channel.

Bring the group, grab a smash burger after, stick around for the music. Or get out early, coffee in hand, before the course fills up. Either way — you're playing, not watching.

- Green fees from 6:00am · Saturday & Sunday
- Buggies available
- Terrace, grill & music running into the evening

There’s a lot to be proud of across Get Golfing

Over recent weeks, a number of our golf courses have received recognition in independent rankings – but one set of figures particularly caught our attention.

Data based on handicap and scorecard submissions places Pyrford Lakes as the 8th most-played golf course in England, with other Get Golfing venues also featuring strongly:

⛳ Pyrford Lakes – 8th
⛳ Hampton Court Palace Golf Club – 9th
⛳ Warley Park Golf Club – 40th
⛳ Sherfield Oaks Golf – (Wellington) – 47th
⛳ Redlibbets Golf Club – 54th
⛳ Sherfield Oaks Golf(Waterloo) – 66th

That comes alongside other recent recognition across our group, including Pyrford Lakes lakes featuring among Surrey’s leading courses, Winter Hill Golf Club being recognised among Berkshire’s best, and Eastbourne Downs appearing in Golf World’s ranking of the best-value courses in Great Britain & Ireland.

We’re delighted by the accolades. But, for us, the numbers tell a bigger story.

Get Golfing is a charity, and our purpose goes well beyond simply operating golf courses.

We believe our golf clubs can be places that bring people together: welcoming golfers of different ages and backgrounds, creating opportunities for people to discover and enjoy the game, supporting local communities and charities, and ensuring that our venues have a positive impact far beyond the fairways. The more successful and accessible our golf courses become, the more we can reinvest in them, in the people who use them and in the communities around them.

That’s why seeing so many people choosing to play our courses matters to us.

Of course, none of this happens by accident. Maintaining and continually improving our courses takes an enormous amount of skill, care and hard work. So these achievements belong first and foremost to the brilliant greenkeeping, course management and wider venue teams across our venues.

Thank you to them - and to every golfer who chooses to spend their time with us.

We’ll keep working to make our courses better, make golf more accessible and, most importantly, improve more lives through golf.
