The diet & fitness industry loves to sell us the idea that changing your body requires misery, 24/7 grinding, expensive wellness gimmicks, and erasing who you are.
But as a strength and nutrition coach, want to know a secret? The women who actually maintain their results for life aren’t the ones relying on quick-fix magic. They’re the ones who decided to stop fighting against their bodies and started working with them.
You don’t need to treat food like a moral test, view exercise as a 365-day grind, or expect a morning ritual to do the heavy lifting of a consistent training stimulus to build a body you feel proud, strong, and energized in.
You definitely don’t need to fear carbohydrates. While chronic sugar overconsumption is a metabolic disaster, strategic carbs are absolutely essential for building muscle, fueling performance, and proper recovery. (And yes, broccoli is a carb!)
Real transformation is built on science, true nourishment, strategic rest, and patience.

After already fighting off type 2 diabetes, Tracy came to me wanting to get back into loving the gym, build strength and lose body fat.
After working with me Tracy sad:
“I lost fat and gained muscle. I look trimmer, slimmer and fitter. Loving being back and feeling more confident to continue on my own.”
Not only this, but thanks to anthropometric testing, she reduced her metabolic age from 66 to 50 (she’ll be 60 next year)!
Tracy’s next steps (because this is a journey not a destination):
“I want to continue working towards regular workouts at the gym. Reducing my fat a bit more staying strong, fit and healthy. Keeping diabetes at bay. Feeling good naked 😂”.
You see, the role of a coach is to help you find your confidence to do this on your own someday and for Tracy, that day has come. I couldn’t be more proud of this incredibly strong woman 🎉❤️
Tracy opted into my Stronger You: Train with a Friend program🤩

It’s been 5 years to the day since you took your last breath here on earth💔
I realised tonight that I didn’t have a song for you. Sure, there are plenty of songs that remind me of time we spent together but no single one that reflects what you mean to me.
I was washing the dishes thinking of you and I suddenly started to hum a song. Like a Freudian slip, I couldn’t remember some of the words so had to ask Alexa to play it. I knew then, that this was your song❤️
I grew up always looking outward. I was able to pursue whatever I desired knowing you had my back. Even long into adulthood: I don’t think I ever truly appreciated everything you did and without hesitation.
You were my strength when I was weak. You were my voice when I couldn’t speak (and those times were many). You were my eyes when I couldn’t see. You saw the best there was in me (even though I must have frustrated you). I must have been truly exhausting at times and not once did you ever show anything but patience and love.
I truly am everything I am simply because you loved me❤️ Mum, thank you. Xox

Is cake ever just cake? Or will it always be a sign of old unresolved survival patterns?😕

✨Michael✨😭😭😭
I welled up upon hearing the music with the reveal of the Universal logo. I had tears rolling down my cheeks by the time the title ✨Michael appeared.
In those moments, hearing the music so loud, something took over. I was a child again. I remembered the feeling of being alone, working damn hard, being misunderstood. Having no social life and trying so hard to feel like I fit in. Like so many I suppose, I felt safe to escape in his music, in his sound. I was obsessed. It was easier than standing up and asking for help.
At school, we were given book token prizes for receiving subject merits at the end of the year. The head teacher laughed when he realised one of my books was MoonWalk by Michael Jackson. I couldn’t afford to buy my own books and I was over the moon (pun intended) that I got to buy this!!🙌
My kids understandably weren’t as excited as I was to go see ✨Michael. I don’t think they will ever appreciate just how big a star he was in a world before people embraced the internet. I also don’t think my son’s forte will be photography (see last slide🤣😜).
Massive respect to Michael’s nephew for bringing to life again, the magic that existed and still lives on because he lived.
I was never into football like my dad and going to church was confusing except for the social aspect and weekly homemade tablet but I once found my religion in the music, movements and escapism of Michael Jackson. And for that, I shed tears of joy!❤️❤️❤️🎶🪩🕺
