Another sleepless night so I went to work and stripped this Scott Aspect 740 down to the frame, total frame deep clean. The drive train was in bad condition so fitted a new chain, cassette, derailleur, rear brake disc, new bottom bracket. Also replaced the rear tyre with a newer one i had lying about just to make sure it wont need any replacements or servicing for a while.

Now on to the kit... A brand new 350w Transformebike motor coupled to a second hand 48v 10a battery, LCD and throttle. All these I had lying about so this was the perfect bike to use them up. Only 2 charge cycles and 40 miles on the battery. All cables internally routed. Just an honest second hand bike refurbished to the best it can be. The battery had some scratches in it so i sanded it down with the intention of spraying it but dont have the rattle can to do it so just left as is for the next buyer to spray it whatever colour they want. Would look good sprayed in metallic blue to match the frame. Up for sale for £650

I am getting a lot of enquiries about road legal ebikes and rightly so as Police are clamping down hard on these and this one is one of those road legal conversions. Carrera Vengeance, It has a throttle but only does under 4mph and restricted to 15.5mph on pedal assist. At this restriction this 36v 13a battery will get well over 60 miles range

Customer Lisha contacted me wanting a conversion for her brother on his brand new Carrera Vengeance. Travelled all the way from Tillicoultry, dropped the bike off Wednesday, had it done that same day and picked up today. Working within the budget she had I fitted a 350w YOSE POWER rear geared hub coupled to a 36v 13a battery. Cables were channelled as best as they could be and I was quite happy with the result.

Customer Alan came to see me today with an issue with his pedal assist not working. Turns out he got it serviced with a new cassette put on but the mechanic didn't install his original lock ring that has the pedal assist sensor integrated which is totally understandable for someone to do without the knowledge. Anyway, that was fixed sharpish with a new sensor. What I didn't expect is the amount of miles he has put on this 100g motor without missing a heartbeat. nearly 9500 miles without any regreasing or servicing at all. This is the most mileage I have seen on these kits by a long way, the man is a cycling monster

Forme Winster hybrid step through with a road legal 250w Yose Power front hub motor coupled to a custom rear rack mounted battery with integrated controller. Colour LCD, thumb throttle that is limited to 4mph legal limit and restricted to 15.5mph, 5 levels of pedal assist. These new canbus wiring harnesses have huge square connectors that make it difficult to get them all internally so no internal cables on this one but sticky cable clips do the job just fine.

Full suspension Cannondale Jekyll 700 Lefty with a 500w Transformebike rear geared hub coupled to a 48v 10a battery. No space in the frame for the battery so customer opted for the top tube. Couple of riv-nuts later and it was done. Cables ran externally along side the existing and channelled best as could be. My first ever lefty conversion would you believe?

That is filthy from 100g.tech so it is. One of my builds from years ago just after their launch, it was a sample kit sent out installed on a Calibre Point and they added a fake review from some guy called Eduardo Tso in Canada 🤔

Just goes to show you can't always trust reviews on company websites 🤣

TBF they have came a long way since then with hardware and firmware upgrades and so have I.
