Decided to take some photos on the ai***ft day Sunday, haven't done that for ages and the bonus was I didn't get hit once taking them 😂although both james and myself did when we reverted back to marshalling 🤷‍♂️. We'll start getting some photos of paintball too in the next week or so as I do miss getting some good shots of players in action.

The next paintball days are:

Saturday August 1st.
Sunday August 2nd.

The next Ai***ft days are:

Saturday August 8th.
Sunday August 23rd.

Right, we don't post much on social media these days but just a little update on some of the changes and additions at the site recently.

A couple of months ago we reintroduced the organiser deal for paintball game organisers just as a little thank you for bringing in the extra players.

Organier deal 1:
Bring 10 or more players you get the Stormer 500 paintball deal for free.

Organiser deal 2:
Bring 20 or more players you get the Invader 1000 paintball deal for free.

Paintball: We can now hold public week day paintball games for 8 or more players down from 16 players, minimum deal is the Stormer 500 paintball deal.

Ai***ft: Weekday games are also now available to the public for a minimum of 8 players either the limited or unlimited ammo deals.

Timings for weekday games, both paintball and ai***ft can now be varied so if you want to arrive at for example 11:30am and play until 2:00pm that can be arranged although if you require lunch you'll need to bring your own.

The introduction of "open to the public" weekday games is simply down to the logistical reorganisation of equipment making it far easier to hold games with fewer marshals needed to help with lifting some very heavy equipment etc, often during the week it has been almost impossible to get marshals due to their everyday work commitments, this logistical reorganisation will help immensely.

Paintball Walk on players are welcome on rental days but of course can only play with the necessary restrictions such as fire rates etc, we will try to reintroduce specific walk on days every now and then and they will be subject to a minimum of 10 players with prepayment too.

We've also changed the format on some of the game zones to further improve gameplay and enhance the excitement of winning....or losing 😂

Well I guess its that time of year, imagine the effort laying these little beauties, thats one tired pheasant. All safe and cordoned off for the coming weekend of Paintball Ai***ft and Blasters.

Since moving to the site over the years I've seen a marked increase in the diversity of wildlife we have, from one pair of nesting Buzzards I now have three nesting pairs, there were five but the recent bird flu epidemic took a few, a fox family living in a den close to the gun hut, roe deer, muntjac deer and we've recently spotted and identified a Chinese water deer, Jays, woodpeckers, a resident inquisitive Robin, owls although were not sure which species, various finches, rabbits, hares, even a few indigenous snake species, dragon flies plus lots of other flora and fauna. Good woodland management and careful considerate game zone planning seems to have worked very well indeed.
