A dominant performance from the lads sees the 3 points return to Greig Park,

From the first whistle the vale dominated proceedings, Josh Spence quickly converting at the back post from a delightful Sam Terry delivery.

Leven equalised from a scramble in our box that ultimately could’ve been dealt with, but the team regrouped quickly, 5 minutes later followed by a Caelan Lamont goal from a delightful drop off from Josh Spence following excellent work on the wing by Bob McCallum.

The second half was comprehensive from the vale, a classy finish from Bob McCallum from an Eoin Garvey assist (shockingly!!), followed by a terrific finish in to the near post by Josh Spence from a great pass through the lines from Lee Harper.

A dominant performance from the boys away from home, controlling the game for the large majority of it.

Michael left the club last season and plied his trade for Balgonie Scotia, he’s now returned and is instantly showing his class, as he put in a strong performance on his first game back at the weekend.

Happy birthday to our boy Callum Drummond!

Drummo had started pre season well until an unfortunate injury cost the spot, now back training and back showing his class and fighting for his spot, never missing sessions and always giving us 100%.

Delighted to have him as part of the team, a great guy to have round the club and even when he’s not in squads, consistently there cheering his teammates on. A true professional and gentleman.

A scrappy game as expected with the wind heavily involved, neither team got out of first gear for the entirety of the 90 minutes.

We opened the scoring through Josh Spence from a wonderful Lee Harper cutback, a flash in the pan in an overall poor first half from both sides.

Methilhill came out the gates the better side in the second half and won themselves a penalty, calmly dispatched by their player.

The game opened up and was end to end for the last 15, with Eastvale being denied what can only be described as a stonewall penalty, as Travis Webster knocked it round their keeper,

A fair point given the balance of play and scrappy nature of the game, gives us plenty to work on ahead of next week,
