Minninnooka was never intended to be somewhere people simply arrived, rode and went home.

I grew up with horses and polo through my Australian family, while Daniel brings a lifetime of Argentine polo experience. In Surrey, we’ve brought those backgrounds together to create something that is much more than a traditional riding or polo school.

We teach people to understand the horse, take responsibility, develop confidence and progress through every stage of the sport.

That might mean:

• Taking a first polo lesson
• Learning to groom and prepare a pony
• Joining instructional chukkas
• Progressing into a squad or team
• Developing or owning a horse
• Experiencing life on a working polo yard

For us, good polo starts long before anyone reaches the field.

Pony Club polo simply wouldn’t happen without the incredible parents, friends, families and supporters behind every player.

The early mornings, endless driving, pony holding, kit carrying, cheering from the sidelines, picnics, photos, laughs and everything else that happens behind the scenes.

You don’t just make the polo possible — you make it FUN.

Some of the best memories aren’t just the wins or the goals, they’re the weekends spent together, the friendships made and the brilliant community surrounding the players.

So a huge thank you to everyone behind the boards, behind the ponies and behind our players.
