This Sunday, our number one member, Arthur, celebrates an incredible 101st birthday! 🎉🎂

Arthur has been part of the Club since the 1960s and, remarkably, continued playing tennis right up until the age of 97! 🎾👏

A true inspiration and a very special part of our Club community, please join us in wishing Arthur a very happy 101st birthday!

A fantastic result for our Wi******er Men’s B Padel Team, who secured the Hampshire & Sussex League title with a brilliant away win against Crawley last weekend! 👏🎾

A special mention to club juniors Tom and Joe Jepson, who made their adult team debuts alongside Ben Jepson and Andy Birch.

There was some fantastic padel on display, with several incredibly close matches going all the way to deciding set tie-breaks.

Congratulations to the whole team on a brilliant league campaign! 🏆👏

A fantastic afternoon on court for the Tex Mex 🇲🇽 Charity Tennis Tournament on Sunday! It was great to see so many members getting involved, enjoying the tennis and sporting some brilliant Mexican-themed attire along the way. 🌮🎾

Most importantly, the event was all in support of Field Lane, raising funds for a fantastic cause.

A huge thank you to Lisa Nops for organising such a fun and successful event, and to everyone who played, donated and supported the day! 👏

A fantastic 5 out of 6 players in the Hampshire Men’s Over 35s team were from WRF as they headed to Eastbourne for the County Cup last weekend! 👏

Competing in a very strong Division 3, the team achieved their goal of staying up and will remain in the division for another year. 💪

Well done to all the players, and a special mention to WRF’s Tom Perkins, who captained the team! 👏🎾

A huge congratulations to Dom Andre, our well-deserved Employee of the Month for July! 👏

Dom joined us in March 2023 as a Kitchen Assistant while studying Forensic Science at university. Since then, he’s grown massively in confidence and has become a hugely valued member of the team.

So much so that Head Chef Steve has complete confidence in Dom to run the kitchen whenever he’s away! 👨‍🍳

Dom gives his all on every shift, is always reliable and gets the job done, even when working in temperatures of 35 - 40°C! 🥵🔥

Although he works behind the scenes, Dom’s hard work, commitment and positive attitude certainly don’t go unnoticed.

Congratulations, Dom! 🎉 Thank you for everything you do for the Club! 💙
