It’s been so much fun seeing this little legend getting into doing parkrun on a Sunday morning

Having some daddy-daughter time, seeing her have so much fun while being active is something I love

I feel it’s so important for her to grow up having opportunities to try different sports and seeing her parents play sport and go to the gym, as a normal part of everyday life

There’s a few little ‘rules’ we talk about when we go on a Sunday morning (and when she goes to her other sports), that might help you with your training…

1. Always give it your best - whatever that looks like on that given day. It doesn’t mean always setting a PB, it just means doing the best you can on that day

2. It doesn’t matter what anyone else does, or where you finish, it’s just about trying to improve your own performance over time

3. Have fun! Enjoy it and have a laugh and if you do that you’ll keep doing it and that’s when you’ll see improvement

If you applied these to your training, how much more consistent could you be and how much better would your results be?

Effective training, that gets results, doesn’t come from doing the fancy exercises or gimmicky workouts you often see influencers on social media telling you to “save to try next time you’re in the gym”

Truth is, getting stronger, building muscle and improved fitness comes from applying a stimulus to your body and forcing it to adapt to it

Like asking it a question, over and over again, that it has to find the answer to…

That’s why effective training is about doing the boring stuff really well, again and again… following the same programme for about 4-6 weeks at a time

Good training is basically doing variations of the same 15-20 exercises, depending on what you need at that time and manipulating the sets, reps and weight to keep adding sufficient challenge to stimulate the response you want

Whenever you’re ready to stop trying the social media gimmicks and start actually getting results from your training, drop us a DM

Manchester 10k, gave it all and enjoyed it 🤙🏻

Chip time was 46:04… a little closer, but still not at that sub 45 🙄

Keep chipping away and we WILL get there… eventually 🤞🏻
