🟣 PROUD TO BE PURPLE. WHAT. A. DAY. 🟣
Wow. There genuinely aren’t enough words to describe yesterday.
Proud. Passionate. Overwhelmed. Grateful. 💜
Deadly Dozen Cambridge. Purple Army Takeover.
Not just because of results, podiums or medals.
Because of PEOPLE.
People doing their first ever fitness race. People returning after having babies. People racing for the Purple Army for the first time. People dealing with injuries who couldn’t race but STILL turned up to support, judge and be there for their teammates.
Athletes. Supporters. Judges.
Whatever their role, they chose to be there. They chose Purple. And they were PROUD to be Purple. 💜
And then there were the results… 👀🔥
😂 THE MEN FINALLY GOT A FLAG!
🥉 3rd place Men’s Relay!
🔥 A COMPLETE PURPLE ARMY WOMEN’S RELAY PODIUM SWEEP!
🥇 1st
🥈 2nd
🥉 3rd
We also had an overall Mixed Doubles podium with Team Rickett, alongside age-group podiums, placings, wins and brilliant performances across the team.
But yesterday was about so much more than results.
Cheering. Supporting. Encouraging. Helping. Celebrating.
And importantly, not just for our own people.
We supported EVERYONE.
As founder of the Purple Army, owner of Neil Marsh Health & Fitness, an early Deadly Dozen affiliate and an MC within Deadly Dozen, seeing all of those worlds come together yesterday was an absolute privilege.
There were moments I just stood there trying to take it all in.
Someone racing for the first time. Someone coming back. Someone winning. Someone achieving something they didn’t think they could. Someone unable to race but still standing there supporting their team.
THAT is the Purple Army. 💜
People will come and people will go. Some will lose faith and choose a different path.
But to those who continue to believe in what we are building…
THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING PURPLE.
Thank you for believing in us.
Thank you for being PROUD TO BE PURPLE.
Yesterday wasn’t just about what we achieved.
IT WAS ABOUT WHO WE ARE. 💜
Thank you Deadly Dozen for having us.
🟣 PROUD TO BE PURPLE. ALWAYS. 🟣
🔥 BOOM. 💥

🟣Deadly Dozen Dublin Done ✅ Cambridge Loading🟣
What a privilege! Seeing this race front row, first hand, tour the UK and beyond is so exciting. What Jason Curtis has created is something really special. A race for all, tough, but for all.
Dublin was no exception and it was amazing to see this race reach Ireland 🇮🇪. The athletes of all abilities and backgrounds delivered.
On to Cambridge (my home town) and to see a fitness race of this size reach our city is a dream come true…what a moment this will be. Excited to see everyone there.
Representing Deadly Dozen on the mic 🎤 each week is, like I said, a real privilege. This opportunity is never taken for granted and I can’t thank Jason and his team enough for what Deadly Dozen has brought to my life as a person, a business owner, an athlete and now as an MC.
Seeing this race reach Deadly Dozen DACH Deadly Dozen Malta DEADLY DOZEN ESPAÑA Deadly Dozen Africa | Fitness Race Deadly Dozen Benelux 🇧🇪🇳🇱🇱🇺 Deadly Dozen India 🇮🇳 Deadly Dozen Canada Deadly Dozen Alberta deadly_dozen_italia_ to name a few is amazing and it’s going to grow and continue…you watch.
Proud to be a small part of this outstanding fitness race.

🟣🚨 I Found Rock Bottom… And I Couldn’t Be Happier🟣
Last weekend at DEKA FIT Manchester, I hit a point I’ve never experienced before.
This wasn’t my worst race.
It was my wake-up call.
This isn’t a sympathy post, and I’m certainly not looking for compliments.
It’s just the truth.
As I worked my way through only my third ever DEKA FIT and second solo, I couldn’t believe how much I’d allowed my own fitness to slip. Every zone exposed something. Every station hurt. Every minute reminded me I’d got comfortable.
And do you know what?
I absolutely loved it.
The weekend started with a laugh, lining up in the Deadly DEKA wave against the man himself, Jason Curtis , founder and CEO of Deadly Dozen. We sprinted off the line… for about three seconds! 😂 If you saw the video, you’ll know exactly what I mean.
After that… reality hit.
Whether it was the set overs, my least favourite stations, or even my favourites like the Tank and Ball Overs, it didn’t matter.
Everything was hard.
Originally I’d entered Manchester to race the DEKA Ultra on Sunday too.
By the end of Saturday, I knew I’d made the right call deferring it until November in Farnborough.
Because this race wasn’t about a finish time.
It wasn’t about a podium.
It wasn’t even about performance.
It was Day One.
The first training session of a new chapter.
And sometimes the most important race isn’t the one where you win…
It’s the one that tells you exactly where you stand.
Away from my own race, what a weekend for the Purple Army. Incredible performances, amazing support, and another reminder why I’m so proud to be part of this community.
A huge well done to DEKA too. You can genuinely feel the momentum building. The community is growing, the atmosphere is getting stronger, and the future of the sport looks incredibly exciting.
As for me…
The first seven days since Manchester have been some of the best training I’ve done in a long time.
Rock bottom found me.
Now it’s time to build the athlete back.

🟣🔴💀DEADLY DOZEN RELAY - First experience of a Deadly Dozen Relay and it was great fun.
Being on the other side of the fence was a great experience but it also allowed me to carry on with MC Duties between my Labour exercises.
I was on Farmers Carry, Front Carry and Clean and Press. I went for a full send on all of them and was pleased with my efforts…particularly 40 unbroken disc clean and press before finishing the other 20.
All in all it was a great experience to be out there with my relays buddies and get a Mori 💀 Medal and a patch for my efforts.
