Well done Connor_Collier winning The Manchester Box Cup. A fantastic performance against a very talented boxer from Intense Boxing Club. We’re all very, very proud of him 👏🏼

Mixed day today at the The Manchester Box Cup. First, we had Connor against a tricky opponent, but his power was evident after putting his opponent on the canvas in the 2nd and coming away with a unanimous win. Secondly, we had Spencer against a talented opponent from Collyhurst and Moston. It could had gone either way as the bout struggled to gain momentum for either boxer. Unfortunately, Spencer exited the competition on a split decision. Lastly, we had Tom in the open class category. Giving away a lot of experience against an international boxer and Welsh champion, he proved he belongs in that category. Although he lost on points, he gave a very good account of himself, especially after only 14 bouts. All three lads should be proud of themselves as the club very much are.

Well to both Connor and Spencer last night over at the Hideout Arena. Firstly, Connor entering the ring again after 13 months of continual last minute pull outs and giving away experience to his opponent. A closely matched bout in which we were confident that Connor had done more than enough to win. Unfortunately, we got the split decision loss. Something to build on for Connor. Well done, Connor.
Secondly, Spencer produced a composed performance against a tough opponent. Building on from his last bout, in another closely matched contest again, Spencer came away with a split decision win.
Win or lose, we’re proud of both boxers. Entering the ring is such a character building experience. We learn and we build upon.

Well done to this afternoon on the . Connor got the points win over the very talented Haryad. Both lads are no strangers, this is their 4th bout and regularly spar. Very close bout throughout the three rounds. Well done to both talented boxers

Final skills bout for .dalt3 this afternoon in Blackburn. That performance today proved that he’s ready to step up for full bouts. Calm, composed, mature and technical. On to the next chapter for the K Dawg
