Summer is officially over and the kids are back at school!
I don’t know about you, but I’m actually a bit gutted.
It’s been a great summer, later nights, more time with the family, holidays, days out and just being out and about more.
And you can already feel it changing… darker nights creeping in, weather turning and normal routines starting again.
So, be honest…
Are you happy to see the back of summer and get some routine back?
Or are you gutted it’s over?
And more importantly… why

Our new 12-week programme will be open next Monday.
Before that happens, I want to give you the opportunity to access the early-bird offer and save £120 across the programme.
This could be for you if:
You used to feel fitter, stronger and more confident than you do now.
You’ve allowed your own health to move further down the list.
You keep trying to get back into training but struggle to maintain it.
You want to make a physical change without following an extreme plan.
You need structure and accountability rather than another burst of motivation.
Over 12 weeks, we’ll help you rebuild your strength, improve your fitness, change your body composition and create a routine you can continue afterwards.
You don’t need to be fit before you begin.
You don’t need to know your way around a gym.
And sending us a message doesn’t commit you to joining.
It starts a conversation and allows us to see whether the programme is right for you.
To receive the full details and access the £120 early-bird saving, message EARLY ACCESS on WhatsApp.

When I tell someone I believe in what they're capable of before they believe it themselves, I know how that sounds.
Like something you'd see on a gym wall.
I mean it in practical terms.
We've coached over a thousand people.
And the pattern I've seen more than any other is this.
The moment someone has one person in their corner who genuinely believes in what they're capable of, not who tells them to believe in themselves, but who actually believes it on their behalf, something shifts.
They try harder.
They come back when they'd normally quit.
They push past the point where they'd previously stopped because there's someone there who already knows what's on the other side.
I carry the belief until theirs catches up. That's what the job actually is.
Not the programme. Not the sets and reps. The belief.
And it always catches up. Every single time I've done this job properly, it has caught up.
That's what we're here to give everyone who walks through the door at MBH, or logs into the online programme from wherever they are.
Not just a plan, someone who already knows what you're capable of.
DM us. First session is free.
If you could instantly improve one thing.
Your sleep, energy, confidence or fitness

She trained with us for a year before she told us what had actually changed.
We'd been measuring the obvious stuff. She'd lost a stone and a half. Got significantly stronger.
Her fitness had improved more than she expected in the first three months.
But what she told us a year in was none of that.
She said the thing that had changed was that she stopped punishing herself.
She'd started and stopped so many times before that she'd stopped believing she was the kind of person who could stick to something.
Every time she'd quit she'd added it to a pile of evidence against herself.
A year of showing up, not perfectly, not without missing sessions, not without hard weeks.
She said she'd walked through the door a year ago to get fit. She hadn't expected to leave feeling like a different person.
That's the thing nobody talks about with consistency.
The physical results are real. But what compounds underneath them is the identity shift from someone who starts things to someone who sees things through.
That's what a year at MBH actually builds.
What's the longest you've ever trained consistently? And what made it stick or stop?

After years of coaching I've become less interested in programming and more interested in people.
Not because programming doesn't matter. It does. But I've realised the programme is the easy part. Any decent coach can write a programme.
The hard part, the thing that actually determines whether someone changes, is understanding what's going on with them.
What's happening in their life outside the gym. What they're scared of. What they've tried before. What the story is they've been telling themselves about why it hasn't worked.
The best session I ever coached wasn't the one with the most carefully designed loading scheme.
It was the one where I noticed someone was struggling before they said anything. Where I changed the session completely on the spot because what they needed that day wasn't what was written down. Where they left feeling like someone actually saw them.
That's the bit that changes people.
Not the programme. The attention is the thing.
Knowing someone is paying attention, that they'll notice when you're off, when you're struggling, when something's not working, changes how you show up. It changes what you're willing to try. It changes whether you come back.
That's what we try to give everyone who trains with us at MBH.
Not just a plan. A coach who's actually paying attention.
Has someone paying proper attention ever changed how you showed up? Drop it below.

The first person who ever DM'd MBH was someone who'd been following the page for six months before they plucked up the courage.
They said they'd typed a message numerous times and didn't send it.
Because they didn't want to waste our time. Because they weren't sure they were 'the type of person' gyms like ours were built for.
They've been training with us for two years now.
I think about that a lot. Not the two years, the six months.
The conversations they were having with themselves that we couldn't hear.
All the reasons not to. The assumption that the door probably wasn't open for them.
The door has always been open.
It's open for the person who used to be fit and let it slip.
For the person who's tried before and it didn't stick.
For the person who's convinced themselves they're too far gone or too busy or too old to start now.
We have not yet met a person who was too far gone.
If this sounds familiar...
Drop us a message.
Type the message and don't delete it.

Over the last six months MBH has changed more than it has in any period since we opened.
We wanted to take a moment to share what's happened and where we're going.
The gym itself has been fully refurbished. It is now a genuinely top quality training space and we are proud of every corner of it. If you haven't been in recently, come and see what it looks like.
Paul came on board as a full partner. That decision was about being able to do more and offer more, more coaching, more expertise, more capacity to actually help people properly rather than stretching one person across everything.
We have built training programmes for both the gym and the online platform that cater for every person regardless of their age, ability or goal. Someone in their 60s training for the first time and someone training for Hyrox or a triathlon are both in the right place here.
We have built a full education system that covers every aspect of health and fitness — nutrition, sleep, stress, recovery, the mental side of it. Not as an afterthought. As a central part of what we do.
We have created a full course on health and wellbeing in the workplace, and we have secured funding to make health and fitness accessible to people it wouldn't otherwise reach.
We work with people over 60. With women going through menopause. With people who are struggling with their mental health and using movement as part of managing it. With people who want to lose weight. With people competing in Hyrox and triathlons. And with everyone in between.
That range isn't an accident. It's the point.
Our mission is to make fitness accessible to everyone. Not a body type. Not a look. Not an age group or an ability level. We genuinely believe that training — done properly, in the right environment, with the right support — transforms every aspect of a person's life. Not just the physical part. All of it.
That is our mission. It is our passion. And it is what we will keep building toward.
There is a lot happening over the coming months and we want to bring as many people along with us as we can.
If you've been thinking about it — this is thethis is the moment.

The gap between knowing what to do and actually doing it is where the real problem arises.
And it's got nothing to do with laziness or not caring.
Because knowing and doing are completely different problems and the fitness industry almost exclusively addresses the former.
In the age of social media there is more information, more plans, more tips and more content than ever before.
Yet we know that the nations health and fitness is declining. More people are struggling with weight, physical health and mental health than ever before.
Why is this, when information is so abundant.
Because information is not what's missing.
What they're missing is a structure that holds when motivation disappears.
A system that doesn't collapse the moment a bad week arrives.
Someone who notices when things are going sideways before you yourself have admitted it.
We've watched people who knew exactly what to do for years finally make progress the moment they had those things around them.
Information was never the problem. Implementation was.
This is what we build at MBH.
A structure built around a real person's real life with the accountability and support to make it actually work.
Is it information or implementation thats missing the most for you?
