Last tee off time is now back to 7pm!
We will be open as normal over the bank holiday weekend with an 8am opening time on Saturday and Sunday and a 9.30am opening time on Monday.

Last tee off time is now 7.15pm!
It’s that time of year when the nights start to really draw in, and the last tee time will be roughly 15 minutes earlier each week

Course is playing fast and fiery!
We are open from 9.30am on Mondays and Fridays and from 8am on all other days, with a last tee off time of 7.30pm.
All ages and abilities welcome at Porters Wood!

The course is open today, last tee off time is 5pm.
It is still very soft on the fairways so please play preferred lies and replace your divots. We are on the main greens but it is still Winter mats to tee off.
Please remember there is no booking system we are still a pay and play golf course, and that everyone must pay a green fee (even if not playing).

The course will be back open on Thursday from 9am with a last tee off time of 4.30pm.
For subsequent days please continue to ring us on 01942 214777 to check we are open as we may still have days closed when it’s too wet for play.

The course will be open today from 10.30am with a last tee off time of 2.30pm!
It is cash only payments, there is no booking system - we are still a ‘pay and play’ golf course. Everyone must pay a green fee even if not playing.

We are hoping to stay open for a few days but please give us a call to check opening times on 01942214777 as we may only open late in the morning during heavy frosts. It it turns wet again we may be closed (please don’t rely on google opening times as these are not always accurate).

We are on the normal greens, winter mats to tee off and please play preferred lies everywhere.
