We were hoping the forecast would change but it still hasn't and we can't afford to take any risks with your safety and that of your children...

Absolutely gutted to call it off, fingers crossed for better weather next week and we can get back to it...

Tonight we celebrate our fantastic Wigan Cosmos Football Club Valkyries after their inaugural season in football in the Wigan Girls League ...

Football is always full of ups and downs but my, my what a journey they're on...

And tonight we celebrate their first ever season in football and not only celebrate their football journey but also as amazing young people and who they're growing into be, who do the club proud, each and every week, it'll be a night full of laughs, joy, singing, dancing and trophies...🏆

All are WELCOME so come join us at St John's Street Playing Fields and make it an even bigger celebration for them, as they pave the way for the younger ones to make their first steps into competitive football, empowering more girls along the way and growing the game...

🚨 Football Cancelled on Wednesday...

Due to England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 qualifying for the World Cup Semi Final 🏆 and the game kicking off Vs Argentina at 8.00 pm on Wednesday (you'd think they'd pick another day) ⚽️ we're going to have to cancel Wednesday's football session...

We're all really sorry to cancel the session again knowing our little Wildcats & Future Stars love their night of football fun...

But this gives them, their parents/carers and our coaches the chance to watch England without rushing around to get home, washed and fed in time for the match (on at a normal time) with their friends and family and cheer 🗣️ on the 3 Lions 🦁🦁🦁...

We'll see you all back on Wednesday 22nd July 🗓️ as normal with hopefully no more disruptions to our Wednesday football 🙏
