🔴⚫️Match Report – St Pats (Away)

An early kick-off and a tough, physical local derby made for a close contest, with both teams giving everything from start to finish. Well done to both sets of players for putting on a great game.

Our defence was a real positive today and was built on excellent effort levels throughout. We just needed a little more awareness when getting back into position, setting the defensive line quicker, and sharing the workload across the team rather than relying on individuals.

In attack, we struggled to build any real rhythm and stuttered too often. Credit to the opposition, who kept the pressure on us all game, but these are the challenges we need to learn to overcome by staying composed and playing a little smarter.

George – Outstanding effort and determination all game. He constantly took his team forward and never shied away from the hard work.

Jack – Excellent performance today. He made some brilliant evasive runs and put in a huge defensive shift with an outstanding tackle count.

Jimmy & Oliver B – Fantastic work rate, setting the standard for the team with huge tackle numbers and consistently punching above their weight.

A great game for the neutral and plenty of positives for us to take into the next fixture. Heads up, keep working hard, and we’ll go again next week.
