Halton Sport Development

Halton Sport Development Halton Sports Development team aim to increase participation in Sport & Physical Activity at all levels, and assist sports clubs in sustaining activity.

Our objectives include:
- raising the profile of sport, ensuring all members of the local community have access to information regarding sporting opportunities and physical activity.
- implementing the findings of the sports facilities plan.
- offer a network of support to voluntary sports clubs.
- assisting in the structured development of sports by working with key partners including voluntary sports clubs, schools, and national governing bodies.
- encouraging sport through education.
- maximising the funding available for sports projects and individuals within the borough.
- providing support to talented athletes to help them reach their full potential.
