Thanks so much to everyone who joined us for our Mixed Competition tonight! And what a competition it was!

It was fab to see skaters of all ages and abilities come along and show off their skills. We had lots of new faces tonight, too, including skaters from other rinks. We hope you all felt right at home with us 🥰

Special congratulations go to Harriet Regan, who won the Paul O'Prey Judges' Choice award for her lovely presentation skills across all three of her programmes, and Amelia Ramsden, who won the Margie Wissett Committee's Choice award for her confident performance and the wonderful progress she's made! Well done, ladies! 👏

A huge thank you to everyone behind the scenes who helped make tonight possible, and to all of our skaters and their families for your continued support. These events simply wouldn’t happen without you!

Most of all, thank you for cheering each other on and helping create such a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. We hope you all had as much fun as we did! 🥰

We have received an email from British Ice Skating to alert us to some scams going on in the social media world especially TikTok. There are some awful people targeting younger skaters who have social media and saying they know them and to send a picture. They are then using AI to do the unthinkable with these images.

Please keep your children safe online and educate them on online safety.

If anyone has any concerns please feel free to email us or message us directly. There is also a contact for BIS in the letter. The police are involved and working with BIS.
