Todays officers visited the Farnworth Hornets on their graduation day lots of great players showing of their skills. Well done !

Well it's been quite a ride!

💚 Our Little Heroes have been AMAZING
🖤 Parents/Grandparents/ Guardians (you know who you are) have been AWESOME there are weeks we couldn't have done it without you, so thank you so much
💪 Coaches, you are all pretty good 👀 Our young coaches particularly have been OUTSTANDING

This should be an amazing day if you're looking for something to do tomorrow

Today we'd like to thank the sponsors of our Live Duck Hunt ducks!

These are larger 17cm long ducks (trust me until you see them you'd think that the ducks are small).

These guys sponsored the 10 ducks which you can find at The Festival - clues will be given at 0945 on 30th August.

Every person who finds one of these, picks it up and brings it to us wins a prize!

With a heavy heart we've decided to cancel today's session 💚 100% chance of rain and possible thunder, the third rule of Little Stingers is to have fun and we feel it might not be fun for anyone 🖤 See you all next week ♥️

The Widnes Duck Hunt is a fun community project in Widnes, Cheshire.

The Event is taking place between 1st August 2026 to 30th August 2026.

The Hunt:

Part 1 - Follow the Duck trail through the town each duck is sponsored by a company and is provided for some community fun. There are 40 ducks to find. Discover there names. (Map will be available mid-July HERE).

Part 2 - A live duck hunt on 30th August, where 10 ducks are hidden within 1 mile of our Duck Festival. Find one and return it to the Duck Wardens on the day at Victoria Park Bandstand, Widnes and you win a prize.

We're doing this in recognition of the organisers 50th birthday's in 2026.

Hence the 50 ducks for defibrillator #50.

Thank you for supporting the initiative and helping to fund another community defibrillator and supporting a fantastic young man who's fundraised for a massive 49 defibrillators so far!
