The last couple of sessions have seen a lot of focus on getting our players through Challenge 1 of the coaching programme.

Section 1.1 challenges players to pot 6 balls in a row, three consecutive times.

It might sound relatively straightforward, but it requires a bit of thought and finesse — particularly controlling the white and getting it into position for the next shot.

👏 Congratulations to Ethan Forbes, Lewis Malcolm and Konnor Ross, who have now passed 1.1 grade.

Great progress all round — hopefully we’ll see a few more names added to the 1.1 pass list next week! 🎱

Hi everyone,

We wanted to let you know about an important change affecting the Pool Academy.

Unfortunately, from 1st August, our funding is being reduced by 50%. While we’re disappointed by this, we’re committed to keeping the academy running and continuing to provide quality coaching for the

To help cover our running costs and protect the academy from any further funding cuts, we’re introducing a £2.50 contribution per session from 8th August.

We want to reassure everyone that any money left over after covering costs will be reinvested directly back into the academy, helping us buy new equipment, and continue to create opportunities for the young players.

We really appreciate your continued support and understanding. Without it, we simply wouldn’t be able to offer the academy at the level we all want.
