FROM OUR U8 YELLOWS! ⚽
A fantastic effort from the players on Saturday as the Yellows travelled away to face Hawkinge. 💛💙
Hawkinge proved to be a difficult opponent, but the players continued to battle and, as the game went on, really began to develop their play and grow into the game. 👏
There was some good football throughout, with plenty of determination, hard work and some fantastic goals.
⚽ Arthur, Alfie and Anya all got on the scoresheet with some great goals, showing good attacking play and taking their opportunities when they came. A good opposing goalkeeper prevented more.
⭐ Special mention to Avery, who made some really good saves in goal at important moments.
A big mention also for Rocco and Jordan, who showed excellent defensive recovery and worked hard to help the team deal with the pressure, while also creating opportunities on goal. 💪
🏆 PLAYER OF THE MATCH – ALFIE
Alfie worked incredibly hard in defence against a powerful opponent, showing determination and battling for every ball while driving the ball up the pitch. 💪
When the opportunity came to move up front, Alfie made the most of it, getting in behind on the break and taking his goal really well. ⚽️👏
🌟 A positive performance from the Yellows, showing great character, development and teamwork as the game went on.
