Not everyone was quite so keen to step in front of the camera, but here are a few of the brilliant people who work tirelessly behind the scenes at Whitley Bay Golf Club.

From welcoming members and visitors to keeping everything running smoothly, this team plays a huge part in making the club such a friendly and enjoyable place to be. They bring plenty of hard work, good humour and patience to the job, and we really do appreciate everything they do.

They might not all love having their photo taken, but they are very much valued, and the club simply would not be the same without them.

The Men's Captain's Wife is delighted to invite members, guests, friends & the local community to a relaxed morning of coffee, homemade cakes and great company—all while raising vital funds for the incredible volunteer crew at RNLI Cullercoats.

Every cup of coffee and every raffle ticket helps support the courageous volunteers who are on call 24/7, saving lives along our North Sea coastline.

Unfortunately, we've had to make the difficult decision to cancel Friday night's Local Heroes gig at Whitley Bay Golf Club.

Despite our best efforts, we haven't been able to sell enough tickets for the event to go ahead. With a number of great local music nights happening on the same evening, we think it's simply been one of those unlucky clashes.

A huge thank you to everyone who bought tickets and supported the event – we're really sorry to disappoint you.

The good news is we're already hoping to arrange another date and bring the lads back in the future, so keep an eye on our page for updates.

Our function rooms are decorated so that you can add your own touches. Bring balloons, table centre pieces and your party, and we’ll provide the beautiful food. It’s as simple as that.
