The club has 4 all weather courts and a clubhouse which has a kitchen and changing facilities which includes toilets and a shower area. Beverley Park Lawn

Tennis Club has achieved LTA Northumberland Tennis Club of the Year in 2018 and 2021 and also came runners up at the National Community Sport & Recreation Awards in 2023 for the Diversity & Inclusion category. We are also delighted to be the first club in Northumberland to achieve LTA Youth recognised venue status! Beverley Park Lawn Tennis Club is part of the LTA Play campaign. This allows players to play on a pay as you play basis throughout the week at the club. We offer a wide range of social and competitive tennis for players of all abilities and we have an extensive coaching programme which is for juniors and adults. The junior coaching programme is for children aged 2-18 years old. Beverley Park LTC runs a very successful LTA Youth programme which includes Tots Tennis, LTA Youth Red, LTA Youth Orange, LTA Youth Green, LTA Youth Girls and Teenager Tennis. The club also runs Holiday Tennis camps and is available for children Birthday parties. There is also a variety of sessions in the adult coaching programme from Absolute Beginners to Walking Tennis. The club also delivers Tennis Xpress and Drills, Team Tennis coaching sessions for players who want to get involved with the club's teams and take their game to the next level. The club has mens, women, mixed, veterans and junior teams in the Northumberland & Durham Summer and Winter leagues and LTA National Leagues. The club hosts annual open days, events and fun social tournaments for everyone to get involved with. Beverley Park Lawn Tennis Club also has an excellent School Tennis Programme and has several links with Schools in North Tyneside. The club also offers a disability programme for schools and community groups which is part of the LTA initiative, Open Court programme. Beverley Park LTC is a registered LTA Tennis venue for the 2025-26 season which brings plenty of benefits to the club and for members. At the weekend, we hosted our annual Wimbledon social tournament🎾🍓

We had 16 players on court and the format was a mixed doubles event which allowed everyone to play with each other once!

Every game mattered to each players total score💪🏻

Congratulations to this year’s winners… Jonathan and Lauri👏🏼

A massive thank you to Sue for organising the tournament and for all the players who took part, there was some excellent tennis on show😃

This weekend we hosted the annual John Forshaw Cup at the club🎾

The format was a mixed doubles veterans round robin, which give each pair the opportunity to play each other once.

We had a full house of 16 pairs battling it out to be this year's champions👏🏼

This year’s champions were Paul and Angela and the runners up with Jon and Emily🏆

As always, it was lovely seeing John’s family in attendance to present the trophies.
