We had a lovely weekend last week at the Stephanie Morgan School of Dance competition. Everyone made us so proud with their wonderful performances. It was lovely to see the joy everyone showed in their dancing. Well done to all and thank you for inviting us The Stephanie Morgan School Of Dance.

Some of our drama students have received their results for their Lamda exams and what a fabulous set of results they are! All distinctions and high merits! We are so proud of them and also of our two wonderful teachers Natasha and Erin. Pictured here are some of our students with their certificates . Last day of Elmhurst Associates for this academic year for Heidi, Annabelle, Arabella and also Daisy (pictured here with Miss Ann). The girls have loved their first year on the scheme. In September they will be joined by our new Elmhurst Young Dancer Associates Beatrice, Molly, Alice, Rowan and Archer. Excited for you all to experience this fantastic additional training to the bbodance ballet training we provide at the dance school.

What an amazing day performing at the Royal Opera House as part of the Chance to Dance company! Thank you to Royal Ballet And Opera Chance to Dance scheme for a wonderful experience for our dancers. We couldn’t be proud! The children danced so beautifully! Well done to all the other students in the company and to all the Chance to Dance team!

Our former pupil Yannik at the Prague masterclass. Yannik is currently in second year at Central School of Ballet . It’s lovely watching him go from strength to strength with his professional ballet training and we are very proud of him!

Final day of rehearsals for our Chance to Dance company dancers . Next Sunday they will dance on stage at Royal Opera House Covent Garden with 30 dancers from the North East as part of the Next Generation Festival. We can’t wait for our trip to London fully funded by the generosity of Royal Ballet And Opera. Chance to Dance has been an incredible opportunity to explore creativity within ballet, and coming to the end of our 4 years of the scheme, we are so grateful for all the learning and opportunities. The piece the children will dance is formed from their creative ideas and so their voice will be heard loud and clear in the choreography. Well done to everyone!

The NODA review is in for the Eurovision party summer show. We are so proud of our dancers and the contribution they made to the show. Well done to all of the cast of Woodlands Theatrical Society and all the technical staff also for a great production.

A Eurovision Party - NODA NODA is a charity that supports amateur theatre groups at every stage.

We had a lovely evening performing The Glasshouse International Centre for Music tonight with our musical theatre class. It was wonderful to join 400 children singing in front of an audience of 1400! We were so proud of everyone!

We had some wonderful news today that 9 of our students have been successful in their audition to gain a place in The Royal Ballet School Junior Associates scheme and in addition to this, 2 more of our students been placed on the waitlist and will attend online classes. We are so happy for our students to be given this fantastic opportunity of additional training to the bbodance training we offer at the school and look forward to them all starting their classes in September. Well done Heidi, Nola R, Arabella, Rowan, Alice, Annabelle, Isla, Beatrice, Archer, Olivia and Nola D. So proud of everyone!
