The Women's softball squad had a very serious and important county finals day yesterday......so of course we rock up in daft hats, with tambourines, kazoos, a cowbell and our tunes.

County finals or not, it was our last games of the season so we were there to enjoy them.

We lost our first game to a very strong Bradshaw side (who went on to win) and won our second v a Bolton Percy in a close match, but it wasn't enough to get us into the final.

Everyone played brilliantly, the stand out moments were in the field, with much shorter boundaries than we are used to there was a lot of great saves helping keep opposition scores down.

A great end to another busy, fun season.

Women's softball Finals Day!

Yesterday our team went to Helperby CC to meet winners from other leagues across north Yorkshire and after winning 4 out of 4 games we came out on top. 💛💚 🏆

Together with 2nd place from yesterday Great Ayton CC we face other area winners at the Yorkshire Finals day at York CC next Sunday.

Well done Ladies. 💛💚

Thank you to everyone who came along yesterday and support our 6 aside competition and remember ‘Butch’.

Thank you to all the teams for joining us (sorry we didn’t get more pictures) and making the day as good as it was.

Congratulations to Whitby Yellows on winning the trophy for the second team, edging out Fylingdales in the a really close final.
