Great start to the season for both Marquis Magic and Mavericks this evening!

Magic played Calypso tonight in the newly formed 3rd Division, and had a great game. New players and some returning from maternity and injury gave this team and first experience together. Calypso won 33-16. a very respectable score. Some great netball played by all!
Our own team POM went to 🌟🌟Erin 🌟🌟

Mavericks took on Kooky Bloom tonight and welcomed some new players to the court also. It was a great match with some great skill from both teams, especially given the break in playing!Tonight, we took the win 65-24!
Our own team POM went to 🌟🌟Zoe🌟🌟

Huge thanks to our sponsors Marquis of Granby Weymouth, to those that did a duty this evening and those who came to support.

Missing some key players from both teams tonight- and thoughts are with our friend Katie who is struggling in hospital! The league sends their love! 💜💙

Mental health matters 💜💙

If life feels hard right now, there are people you haven’t met yet who care about you and want you to have a future…

Today is World Su***de Prevention Day.

Thinking of everyone who has lost someone to su***de, everyone struggling and everyone supporting someone they love ❤️

For ANDYSMANCLUB and so many others helping people find hope is why we do what we do every day.

Yesterday our co-founder Luke was at Number 10 alongside our friends from Samaritans, Mind, Men’s Sheds and many others, coming together to help more people find a way through.

Pictured with Luke and Minister Richards is Ben West, creator of Reasons to Stay.

An amazing movement sharing anonymous letters of hope from people who care to people who need it.

Sometimes a stranger’s words can remind us we’re not as alone as we feel.

Ten years ago ANDYSMANCLUB started with nine men in one room.

This Monday over 7,000 men walked through our doors.

Thousands of conversations, connections and opportunities to see that things can get better.

Now we’re taking that community into some of the biggest conversations about su***de prevention, alongside people who share that same determination to help.

By learning from each other and working together, we can give more people somewhere to turn.

If you’re struggling, you don’t need to have the right words or everything worked out to reach out. There is a place for you and people ready to listen.

Please share this.

Let someone scrolling today know there are people out here who want to meet them, hear them and help them see a future. ❤️

Most of you will have heard the devastating news last week of the passing of Hayley Peyman, Head Coach of Poole Netball Club.

I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that Hayley was probably the driving force behind netball in the county, and further afield, and the person everyone could go to for help and advice. This is reflected in the many, many messages and posts I have seen on socials over the last week. It is clear how liked, loved and respected she was and I wish she could see how much everyone thought of her.

I was lucky enough to have a number of conversations with her as a coach and she was always happy to chat and share her knowledge. I feel lucky to have had those conversations and sad that there won't be any more.

My heart goes out to everyone who knew and loved Hayley, and particularly her family and beautiful boy.
