Thanks to 26.2 Road Runners Surbiton for having us along on their Bank Holiday Monday run in Bushy Park - it was a lovely morning. Looking forward to repaying the compliment soon 😊

Brilliant turnout at our penultimate Towpath Handicap on Tuesday evening. It was great to see so many new faces joining in - and sticking around for the club social afterwards! Thanks Best Western Ship Hotel Weybridge for hosting us 🙏.

We’ve been making the most of the tail end of summer this week, with big turnouts at our track, road & trail sessions (Chertsey Meads & Esher Woods this week). We’ve also welcomed some more new members 🤗

Running, chats, meeting new people, an impromptu local history lesson and the chance to try out a new custom coaching app developed by our own Chris Watts 👏 - a very nice week 😊

Last Thursday over twenty Elmbridge runners participated in The Stragglers Running Club Memorial Relays.

A great evening’s running and socialising with our friends from Stragglers, 26.2 Road Runners Surbiton & Chessington Unity Running Club, and an opportunity to remember those who are no longer with us.

We do struggle for volunteers in the summer holidays, so all help is greatly appreciated - by our core team & by our participants.

Ben, Mike & Oren took the Sunday long run concept a bit further at the weekend, completing the Downs Link from Guildford to Shoreham-by-Sea (a mere 60k!)

Elsewhere, Gareth and Bella ran the Burnham Beeches Half and 10k, respectively. It was Gareth’s fifth and best time at this event.
