Weybridge Sailing and Recreational Boating Club

Today we are at Community Fair. Come along and chat to us, hook a duck and have a go a tying knots! It’s set to be a lovely day!

Yesterday, our rowing crew had a thoroughly enjoyable day taking part in the ! They rowed their hearts out 21.6miles from Milwall to Richmond under 28 London bridges, coming home in just over 3 hours. Well done all! 💛💙

This past weekend the club had its annual ‘laying up’ working party. It’s a time to get the club looking as good as it can before we head into the depths of the winter months but is also a time for members to get together.

A huge thank you to all those that turned out and mucked in, the club is looking great for it!

Our fantastic rowing team are getting ready to take on the this Saturday! 21 miles through London from Milwall to Richmond. Come along and cheer them on, come on WSRBC!

Last Saturday members of our club enjoyed taking part in the Shepperton Raft Race. It was a great day with our ‘Strikers’ coming second in the race (Louise, Dominic and Alex) and our ‘Save water bath with a friend’ team (Steve and Roy) winning the Novelty trophy for most interesting raft. A huge well done to those that participated and thanks to those who helped create the rafts and who supported by water or land on the day. Thanks also to for organising!

Tonight the club managed to launch 2 rowing boats for a Friday night row- furry friends and all! 🐶This is done with a mind to completing the Great River Race in September as well as end of week festivities. All involved found it highly enjoyable 🚣🏼‍♀️

This weekend some of our members took part in the Hamble River Raid and enjoyed a lovely sunny row, with them coming 2nd in their category. A huge well done to everyone involved! 🚣☀️
