Bleadon Hill Golf Course

A huge thank you to all members who took part in today’s “Bleadon Cup” raising money for Weston Hospicecare! The Blue team carry on their unbeaten streak in the tournament this year, under captain James Bailey! With an overall score of 10.5 points to the Red team’s 7.5.

Special mentions to Rutherford’s Cafe for the bacon rolls, Sharon for the cakes, Bob from the pro shop for all his hard work organising the competition itself, and member Mark for going out of his way to organise prizes and being a driving force behind the whole day!

It’s been a good year at the course with lots more participants taking up our competitions, plus events like the Saturday roll-up returning and getting stronger. We hope to keep everything on an upward trajectory and get our members together for things like this more often!

THE BLEADON CUP! 🏆

There’s still time to get your name down for the Bleadon Cup, taking place Saturday 5th September 2026, first tee 09:00!

Two teams will compete for the prize. The first 9 holes will be: Pairs, better ball, match-play. The back 9 will be singles match-play. With points for each match going toward your team’s overall score.

Entry is £20 with proceeds going to charity. There will be a bacon roll provided before play and cake during the interval! Get your name down in the pro shop before it’s too late!

Another unwelcome surprise this morning, on the 7th Green this time! Anyone found to be causing damage such as this on the course will be banned permanently. If you witness anything like this please pass on any information to the staff in the pro shop.
