Branches of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library charity across Yorkshire have paid tributes to the much-loved signer.

Yorkshire & the Humber has seen a slight rise in GCSE results this year, with 64.2% of entries achieving a grade 4 or above, compared with 63.6% in 2025.

Whatever your results look like, be proud of what you’ve achieved and, most importantly, the effort you’ve put in. Grades are only one moment in your journey, they don’t define your ability, your potential or who you are 🌟

GCSE RESULTS DAY IS ALMOST HERE… ✨

To everyone getting GCSE results tomorrow, I’ll be thinking of you and sending all my best wishes 🤍

Results day brings a mix of emotions but remember, a result is just one moment- It doesn’t define you. Whatever number pops up on that paper or screen, it doesn’t measure your potential, your character, or what you’re capable of going forward.

You are so much more than a grade!

Celebrate the hard work that got you here, not just the grade. And parents, give yourselves some credit too. You’ve supported, encouraged, reassured and probably worried alongside them every step of the way!

If you get the results you hoped for, enjoy every second of celebrating 🎉 If things don’t quite go to plan, take a breather– there is always another route forward.

Most importantly, remember that results day is just one chapter. What matters most is what you choose to do next.
