Player Ratings vs Wolves

O'Leary - 9 MOTM - The only player to come of of this shambles with any real credit, a series of saves to keep the scoreline respectable. Shame he was let down.

Styles - 4- Probably the best of the rest but thats not saying much, tried but was given the run around and slowed play down by refusing to use his right foot. Set piece delivery was pathetic. Did make

Phillips - 2 - Shambolic, all over the place, passing was abysmal and don't even get me started on the goal.

Campbell - 3 - Dross. Lazy, cumbersome and all over the place in the first half. Couldn't pass wind.

Townsend - 3 - Looked like a 33 year old coming off a major injury. Woeful defensively and frankly an embarrasment from an attacking point of view.

Diakite - 3 - Complete non factor as we got dominated in midfield for basically the entire game.

Molumby - 2.5 - Similar to Diakite, but also got booked and played his role in the shambles of a goal.

Price - 2 - Reverted to last season. Touch was that of a sunday league player. Set piece delivery was even worse. He rarely ever gets subbed but did today that's how bad he was.

Whitwell - 3 - Tried but was basically as non factor before being hooked.

Morgan - 3 - Seemed more interested in trying to hurt Trippier, had our only 'Half' chance and snatched at it.

Heggebo - 1 - Waste of a shirt. 7 touches, 1 successful pass. 0 Duels won. A complete passenger, who should be ashamed of himself after that shambles.

Subs -

Nzingoula - Offerered more than most but there was no real substance.

Stewart - Better than Heggebo today in faireness but frankly that's not hard.

Collyer - N/A

Tunde - N/A (Can he use his right foot?)

FT - Wolves 1 - 0 West Brom - An utterly gutless, cowardly and completely unacceptable performance from all but one person today. That includes Morrison who got everything wrong today. An embarrassment to the shirt.

Player Ratings vs QPR -

O'Leary - 8 - Had a good game, desperately unlucky with the goal, and made another big save in the second half, distiruction was solid.

Styles - 8.5 MOTM - Looked slightly uncomfortable in possession on his weaker side but other than that was brilliant yet again. Brilliant on the ball and QPR got no change out of him.

Phillips - 8 - Won everything he got near today, deperately unlucky not to be part of a clean sheet.

Mepham - 7.5 - Played well, used the ball effectively. Can't ignore the own goal even if it was desperately unfortunate.

Townsend - 7 - Did fine defensively, but was wasteful with his play in the final 3rd when we needed better.

Molumby - 7 - Solid, played ok but everything was a little too safe when we needed a bit more guile.

Collyer - 7 - Played really well for the most part, showed his composure and dynamism, created our only clear cut chance and won possesion in 50/50's multiple times. However his pass for their goal was the cardinal sin for midfielders and faded early in the second half.

Nzingoula - 6.5 - Made one bright run early and had some flashes but was really a non factor. Him and Styles on the right left us with no real width and it was an issue.

Price - 6 - Workrate was undeniable and did his defensive duties admirably, but he looked exhausted. Lost most of his duels, first touch was sloppy and it killed attacks, crossing was abysmal and set peices were poor. Also was nowhere near strong enough for QPR's goal.

Horn-Myhre - 7 - Tidy but safe, got the assist but needed him to impose himself more. Can see the flashes but we need to see them more often.

Heggebo - 5 - Just a non factor really, game just passed him by. Hold up play was hit and miss and should have buried his chance in the first half.

Subs -

Tunde - A couple of nice touches, had a great chance on the counter but made the wrong choice of pass.

Morgan - By the time he came on the game had turned and QPR were in the ascendency, struggled to really impact the game but will probably be dissapointed he didn't do better with the chance near the end.

Stewart - Can't really recall him influecing the game in any meaningful way.

Diakite - Did help us sure up the midfield a little when we needed it, but recieved another needless yellow card. 7 yellows in the league last season, he already has 4 in 7 league games this season. Needs to improve in that aspect.

Campbell - N/A.

Tough game all things considered, had most of the play but only really managed to create one clear cut opportunity. Always want to win your home games but it’s definitely not the end of the world.
