This morning marked the start of a new chapter as we officially entered Under 10s football! 💙

It was brilliant to see the boys back out on the grass doing what they love. A great morning all round, picking up two good wins while playing football the right way and showing some fantastic team spirit. 👏🏼🔥

Today in our final pre-season game we faced a strong Hednesford Town side. ⚽️

The football on show from both teams was top drawer honestly unreal to watch from a bunch of 9 year olds! 🔥👏

We’ve had a class pre-season playing some top teams from across the Midlands which will put us in great stead heading into the 2026/27 season.

Best of luck to Hednesford Town for the new season! 👏

Our attention now turns to Saturday and the Pelsall Villa Tournament where we were runners up last season.

Can we go one step further this year? 👀🏆

⚽️ PRE-SEASON FRIENDLY ⚽️

Today we faced a strong Halesowen Town side from the Stourbridge League as our pre-season campaign edges towards the finish line.

Another really positive performance from the lads with some excellent displays all over the park. We’re continuing to work on new things building confidence and getting everything in place ready for the 2026/27 season. 💪⚽️

A special thank you to young Tommy and Presley who stepped in today to fill the gaps for the three lads who were away on holiday. 👏👏

Another big test awaits us next week as we take on Hednesford Town.

Today we faced 23 Academy from Telford in what was a high-level competitive game played in exactly the right manner.

The football on show from both teams was outstanding the work rate, desire, energy, skill and competitiveness had everything you want to see from young players.

Days like today when everything clicks it’s an absolute pleasure to watch. We couldn’t be prouder of the performances and the way the boys represented themselves.

This group is something special. Their development as young footballers has been incredible but the hunger to keep improving and pushing forward is what makes them so exciting to be around.

The biggest thing for me though… the game is played with a smile on their faces ❤️⚽

What a class weekend with the DMC Corinthians family! 💙⚽

Yesterday was all about making memories. Watching England together with the boys at our team party was a proper core memory they’ll never forget. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Today we headed into the Walsall Phoenix Tournament hoping to go one better than our semi-final exit a couple of weeks ago.

The lads started brilliantly, winning all three group games without conceding a single goal. Into the quarter-finals we went, coming away with a convincing 3-1 win, which set up another semi-final against a very good Rushall side.

Unfortunately, it ended in another penalty shootout and luck just wasn’t on our side today.

That’s football. It brings the highest highs and the toughest lows and these boys will experience both throughout their journey in the game. The important thing is how they respond, and I have no doubt they’ll come back stronger.

What makes this group so special isn’t just their football it’s their togetherness. They’re not just teammates they’re 10 brothers on and off the pitch. So proud of every single one of them. The future is bright. 💙👏⚽

⚽️ Tournament Season is Underway! ⚽️

We kicked off our tournament season this weekend with a double header at Silverdale on Saturday and Archer on Sunday.

Saturday didn’t quite go our way and we were disappointed not to make it out of the group stages.

The challenge for Sunday was simple learn from Saturday and put things right. And that’s exactly what the boys did.

They topped their group playing some fantastic football in stages showing great character teamwork and determination throughout the day. We eventually lost in the semi-final to another DMC team who went on to win the tournament.

We then finished the weekend on a high by beating a very good MJPL side on penalties to secure 3rd place overall. 🥉

A brilliant response from every single player. They listened learned and bounced back together that’s what football is all about.

What a fantastic end-of-season presentation for Corinthians! ❤️⚽️

A brilliant afternoon was had by everyone. It was lovely to celebrate the boys achievements while the coaches and parents could relax enjoy some great food and drinks and reflect on an amazing season together.

Every single one of our boys received a trophy as a thank you for their hard work dedication and commitment throughout the season. Every one of them should be incredibly proud. 👏🏆

A huge congratulations to our special award winners:

🏆 Most Improved – Cassius
Cassius improvement throughout the season has been incredible and certainly never went unnoticed. His attitude is outstanding, and his smile lights up every game. Keep it up!

🏆 Parents Player – Jorge
Jorge’s work rate this season has been phenomenal. Whether it’s been an easy game or a tough one he’s always given everything and continues to grow in confidence every week.

🏆 Players Player – Keilan
Voted for by his teammates, this award shows just how much they appreciate Keilan’s hard work, determination and positive attitude. A fantastic role model both on and off the pitch.

🏆 Manager’s Player – Frank
Chosen by the coaches for his consistent hard work, commitment and performances throughout the season.
