One final upgrade and one final opportunity for Ed and the Porsche in 2026. 👊
After reviewing the data from recent rounds, Ed could see that the existing Bosch 044 fuel pump was reaching its limit. Rather than increasing the pressure and pushing the pump any harder, the trusty 044 has now been replaced with a more modern AEM 400.
The upgrade gives Ed the fuel capacity to safely turn the setup up a little further as he continues the hunt for those low 10-second passes. It's also ethanol/methanol compatible, making it an early part of the winter fuel-system plans that were already on the list. 🔧🔥
But the National Finals aren't just about chasing another PB.
This is Ed's final opportunity of 2026 to pick up his first piece of silverware in the Porsche. 🏆
A season of seat time and development has made both Ed and the car increasingly consistent, and after a 10.423 @ 135.28mph PB at Greenlight, he heads into the final round feeling like he has a genuinely competitive package.
There's still development happening too. Ed continues to work on the 60ft with the new L*D, experimenting with tyre pressures and launch-control strategy to find improvements in both ET and consistency.
More fuel. More development. One last shot at a trophy. 👀
