The countdown is ON! ⏳🔥

The lads have been putting in the work behind the scenes, getting match-ready and preparing for the season ahead. With just ONE WEEK TO GO, the boys are ready to take everything they’ve worked on onto the pitch! 💪

With our new captain and vice-captains leading the way, the squad has come together, pushed each other and continued to thrive as one.

Stephen Evans - “I’m genuinely honoured and excited to be stepping into the roles of Vice Captain of the OGS Rugby Team and Club Secretary. This club has become a huge part of my life, and I’m incredibly grateful for the trust that’s been placed in me. I’m looking forward to supporting my teammates, helping the club continue to grow, and giving back to a community that has given me so much. I’m excited for the season ahead and can’t wait to see what we can achieve together. Here’s to plenty of hard work, great memories, and success both on and off the pitch”

It’s an incredible honour to be named captain of the OGs. Having worn this shirt since I was a boy, this club means more to me than I can put into words.

Last season showed what we’re capable of, but I genuinely believe we’ve only scratched the surface. We have the talent, the character and the commitment to push ourselves further, and this season is about taking that next step together.

As captain, I’ll give everything I have for this badge, this team and this club. I ask every player to do the same. We’ll work harder, stand together through every challenge, and keep driving each other forward because progress isn’t given, it’s earned.

I can’t wait to lead this group into battle. Bring on the new season. Up the OGs!

As we gear up for another exciting season, it’s time to shine a spotlight on the incredible people who keep our club moving both on and off the pitch.

From organising match days and running events to keeping everything ticking behind the scenes, these are the people who make it all happen. Their hard work, commitment, and countless hours of dedication often go unseen, but they are the backbone of our club.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be introducing the amazing volunteers and committee members who wear the club badge with pride and help make our rugby family what it is.

A huge congratulations to everyone recognised at our Awards Night! Your hard work, commitment, passion, and determination on and off the pitch have not gone unnoticed.

Every tackle, every try, every training session, and every bit of effort has helped make this club what it is. These awards are thoroughly deserved, and we couldn’t be prouder.

Here’s to celebrating this season’s achievements and building on them next season. Well done to every award winner! 💪
