A huge congratulations to our parent helper coach Adam and his wife Nicky, who have just welcomed their beautiful third baby boy! 👶💙

Jamie has officially joined the Crosfields family, arriving to join proud big brother Tommy and big sister Frankie. 🥰

We’re sure Adam and Nicky are absolutely over the moon… although we’re not sure Adam has fully thought this through. 😂

Three children AND a U10s rugby team to manage?! 🤣🏉

Adam, we thought you were volunteering to help coach rugby — turns out you were just getting some practice in for managing a bigger squad at home! 😂

🏉💙💛 THE HOLIDAYS ARE OVER… BACK TO REALITY! 💛💙🏉

Well boys… the all-inclusive buffet has been raided, the ice creams have been demolished, the late mornings have come to an end and the holiday legs are about to get a VERY rude awakening! 😂☀️

The Crosfields U10s are BACK TO TRAINING TOMORROW! 🏉

We’ve actually trained through the summer, kept the rugby ticking over and only had one full week off last week… but with players disappearing off on holidays here, there and everywhere, there’s bound to be a few boys turning up tomorrow wondering why their legs suddenly feel like they’ve been filled with concrete!

And of course, the timing is absolutely perfect…

We spend the summer chasing the sunshine ☀️
We get back from our holidays…
AND NOW IT’LL PROBABLY RAIN. 🌧️

Goodbye poolside.
Hello muddy pitch.
Goodbye all-inclusive buffet.
Hello “who forgot their water bottle?”
Goodbye sunbeds.
Hello grass stains.

Tomorrow it’s time to dust off the boots, wake the legs up and remember which way we’re supposed to run — although some of them were still working that one out before the holidays! 🤦‍♂️

Then Sunday sees our FIRST MATCH BACK as we head away to Liverpool Lions 🦁🏉

The boys have worked hard throughout the summer, and now it’s time to put it into action… assuming everyone remembers their boots, their positions and, most importantly, which team they’re actually playing for! 😂

Let’s get back to doing what these boys do best working hard, playing together, having a laugh and enjoying their rugby. 💙💛

There’ll be tackles, tries, mud, shouting, questionable decisions and absolutely no shortage of noise from the sidelines! 😂👏

FULL TIME: Warrington Wolves 34-12 Hull KR! 🐺🏉

Well… we’re not saying Tuesday night’s visit to Crosfields U10s was the reason for the win… but we’re not not saying it either! 😏

After getting a masterclass from the future stars of Crosfields, the Wolves went on to put in a fantastic performance to beat Hull KR 34-12.

There were shades of Tuesday night’s training all over the game too…

🏃 One try came from running straight through the defensive line – we’ve definitely seen that at Crosfields!

⚡ Another was a brilliant breakaway try – again, nothing our U10s haven’t been practising!

💥 And those tackles and that defensive effort… outstanding! The line speed, commitment and determination to keep Hull KR out looked very familiar. We’d like to think a few defensive tips from the Crosfields U10s rubbed off during Tuesday’s session! 😉

The only thing missing was a Crosfields-style discipline masterclass. No sin bins for our lads on a Tuesday night! Maybe Mikey Lewis should pop down to training next time and see how it’s done… 😂

In all seriousness, we’re delighted the boys got the opportunity to train alongside such fantastic role models, and we’re even happier to see the Wolves get the result this weekend.

Unfortunately, our own U10s won’t be able to make it a Wolves/Crosfields double this weekend, as tomorrow’s fixture has been postponed due to the hard ground caused by the heatwave. Probably for the best… we’d rather save those crunching Crosfields tackles for another day! ☀️🏉

Congratulations to everyone at Warrington Wolves on a brilliant 34-12 victory… we’ll be expecting a thank you in the post! 💙💛🐺

⚽ We all got behind England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿. Ft one waif and stray sibling who followed their school sweepstake! 😲🇦🇷… and, well… that didn’t quite go to plan! 😬🏴

After 90 minutes of diving, VAR debates, and enough rolling around to make Hollywood jealous, we’re ready to get back to a proper sport… 🏉🟡🔵

Thankfully, normal service resumes this Sunday as the Crosfields U10s take on Halton Farnworth Hornets. Expect big tackles, big carries, teamwork, respect… and players who actually get back up after a knock! 💪

And just for the record… no one at Crosfields has ever broken a bone by falling over an advertising board! 😂👏 (just from diving in a hoola hoop but we won’t go there!)

Warrington Wolves Join Crosfields U10s Training! 🐺🏉

What a fantastic evening for our Crosfields U10s as we welcomed some very special guests to training!

A huge thank you to Warrington Wolves first-team captain Ben Currie and Toby King, along with academy players Dan Regan, Lucas Mulqueeney, Finn Hammill and Oliver Orgil, who all came down to get involved with the session.

The lads didn’t just watch from the sidelines—they got stuck in, joined the drills, shared plenty of tips and guidance, and helped our young players throughout the evening. It was brilliant to see the boys learning from professionals, and judging by the amount of listening going on… they definitely took more notice of the Wolves players than they ever do when the coaches are telling them the exact same thing! 😂

The smiles on the boys’ faces said it all, and it’s a night they’ll remember for a long time.

A massive thank you to everyone from Warrington Wolves for giving up your evening to support grassroots rugby. It means a great deal to our players, coaches and families.

Now that you’ve had the privilege of watching the Crosfields U10s train, we’re expecting that inspiration to rub off… so hopefully Warrington can go and get the win this weekend! Good luck from everyone at Crosfields! 💙💛
