Today, the children practised their subitising skills in a fun and hands-on way! They rolled the dice, quickly recognised the number of spots, said the number aloud and then used their counting skills to dab the same number of spots onto their caterpillar. 🎲🐛
A simple activity with lots of learning developing number recognition, subitising, counting and one-to-one correspondence, all while having fun outdoors! 💚

Today at nursery was full of fun, creativity, and learning! 🌈✨

Our little learners enjoyed exploring phonics through exciting activities, got creative with our Colour Monster tuff tray, and used their imaginations in our cardboard house. They also loved discovering new textures in the sensory area and had lots of messy fun in our messy play area! 🏡🎨🖍️🌟

Every activity encouraged communication, creativity, exploration, and confidence while making wonderful memories together. 💛

What a day filled with smiles, laughter and lots of cheering! 🎉 Our little athletes had so much fun taking part in races, obstacle courses and team games, showing wonderful determination, resilience and sportsmanship every step of the way. 💚
It wasn’t about winning, it was about trying our best, celebrating each other’s achievements and making unforgettable memories together. 🌟

Our toddlers and preschoolers enjoyed drawing all the beautiful things they love while strengthening their fine motor skills. Every pencil grip, mark and masterpiece helps develop the hand strength, control and coordination needed for future writing, while encouraging imagination, self-expression and confidence. We loved seeing each child’s unique creations come to life! 💚🌈

Our beautiful invitation to play encouraged our babies to explore cause and effect through hands-on discovery. By pressing, pulling, shaking and experimenting with different resources, they began to understand that their actions make things happen. These playful experiences help build curiosity, problem-solving skills and an early understanding of how the world works—all while having lots of fun! 💚✨

🫧✨ Squish, squeeze, roll and explore! ✨🫧
Our babies had so much fun investigating bubble dough today 💚. Through pressing, squeezing, poking and rolling, they were developing the small muscles in their hands 🤲, strengthening their palm and finger grasps, and building their hand-eye coordination 👀✋.

Today we explored the wonderful world of mini beasts using kinetic sand 🏖️🐜. As we searched, counted and sorted our tiny creatures, we developed our understanding of the world around us 🌍 while strengthening our number recognition and counting skills 🔢💚.
