We hope everyone has had an amazing summer and is feeling refreshed and ready for the start of a brand-new school year!

The team are incredibly excited to be back working with our fantastic partner schools, teachers and, most importantly, all the amazing children! 🏃‍♂️⚽️🏀🥋

From PE lessons and lunchtime activities to after-school clubs and enrichment opportunities, we’re looking forward to another year packed full of sport, fun, confidence building and new experiences.

We’re also excited to welcome new schools and communities to the UAK PE family this year! ❤️

As another fantastic school year comes to an end, we'd like to say a huge thank you to all of our partner schools, teachers, parents, and, most importantly, the incredible children we've had the privilege of working with this year. 💙

From PE lessons and lunchtime activities to after-school clubs, sports events, and holiday camps, it's been a year full of smiles, teamwork, confidence, and unforgettable moments.

One of our proudest achievements this year has been seeing some of the children we've taught in school take their sporting journey even further by joining United Atlantic Karate and stepping into competitive sport. Creating a genuine grassroots pathway to high-level sport is something we're incredibly passionate about, and watching children grow from their first PE lesson to competing on the national and international stage is truly inspiring.

Every child deserves the opportunity to discover what they're capable of, and we're proud to play a small part in helping them build confidence, resilience, and a lifelong love of being active.

We're already looking forward to September, when we'll be returning to our fantastic partner schools and welcoming several new schools to the UAK PE family. We can't wait to inspire even more children, create new opportunities, and make another unforgettable year together.

Karate Taster Day complete! 🥋🎆

We had an amazing time teaching the pupils at Henry Chadwick Primary School a few weeks ago! The energy and enthusiasm were incredible from start to finish, and everyone got fully involved.

We absolutely loved visiting your school. The staff and pupils were so welcoming, friendly, and supportive throughout the day.

“Our Karate Taster Day was a fantastic success and provided an enjoyable and memorable experience for all of our children.

The day began with an engaging and professionally delivered assembly. The children were fascinated to hear about Matthew’s experiences travelling and competing in different countries, as well as learning about the many medals and achievements he has earned throughout his karate journey. His inspiring stories captured the children's interest and encouraged them to learn more about the sport.

Following the assembly, Matthew led a series of practical karate sessions throughout the day. These ranged from 30-minute sessions for our Early Years children to one-hour sessions for Years 1/2, 3/4, and 5/6. Each session was carefully planned and tailored to the age group, allowing all children to participate, develop new skills and build their confidence.

The enthusiasm and enjoyment shown by the children was wonderful to see. They thoroughly enjoyed learning basic karate techniques, practising their movements and taking part in the activities.

Overall, the Karate Taster Day was a highly successful event that left a lasting impression on the children. We would like to thank Matthew for delivering such an inspiring and enjoyable experience that was appreciated by all.”

Another Karate Taster Day completed! 🥋✨

This time we had the pleasure of visiting St Joseph's Catholic Primary School in Lichfield, where we had an amazing time introducing martial arts to a fantastic group of children!

It's always exciting to share the values of karate, confidence, discipline, respect, and fun, with new students, and seeing their enthusiasm throughout the day was incredible.

To top it all off, we were delighted to receive this wonderful review from the PE Lead at St Joseph's.

“We had a fantastic experience – the whole-school workshop was engaging, well organised, and really inclusive for all pupils. The children thoroughly enjoyed the sessions and were excited to learn new skills, while also developing confidence, focus, and coordination.

Matthew was incredibly professional and inspiring, and the assembly added real value by giving the pupils an insight into high-level sport. The opportunity to see and interact with his medals was a real highlight for many of the children.

Overall, it was an informative and enjoyable day that was very well received by both pupils and staff. We would certainly recommend the experience to other schools.”

Feedback like this makes everything we do so worthwhile and reminds us why we love bringing high level PE coaching into schools.

A huge thank you to the school for welcoming us in for our special FREE Karate Taster Day! It was fantastic to see so many children getting involved, showing confidence, energy, focus, and big smiles throughout the sessions. 👏

We’re incredibly grateful for the continued partnership with Leighswood and for the opportunity to support the school not only through exciting events like this, but also through the after school provision we proudly deliver each week.

We’ve had an incredible week delivering FREE Karate Taster Days at Scotch Orchard Primary School and St Chad's C of E Primary School in Lichfield!🥋🔥

The energy, enthusiasm and confidence shown by the children was absolutely amazing from start to finish. At UAK PE, we’re passionate about giving every child access to high-quality coaching, exciting sporting opportunities and experiences that inspire them to stay active for life.

It’s been fantastic to see so many children enjoy the sessions so much that they’ve already started attending our karate classes outside of school, exactly what community sport is all about! 👊

At UAK PE, inclusion is at the heart of everything we do. Every child is welcomed, supported and given the opportunity to develop, whether they’re taking their very first steps into sport or progressing along pathways that can lead from grassroots participation all the way to international competition.

This is more than PE.

This is confidence. Discipline. Opportunity. Community.

Our free karate enrichment day was packed with energy, smiles, and plenty of action. Children of all ages jumped in and gave it their all, and we loved every second of it!

Even better, a few have already started showing up at our local karate classes 👀👏

We’ve had an incredible week supporting a range of camps. And what a blast it’s been! 💥

A highlight for us was joining the Liberty Jamboree HAF Camp, where we had the privilege of delivering some high-energy martial arts sessions. The enthusiasm, effort, and smiles from everyone involved made it truly special.
