New Brighton Cricket Club

New Brighton Cricket Club Established in 1856, the club are founder members of the Liverpool & District Cricket Competition, an ECB Premier League.

Established in 1856, the club are founder members of the Liverpool & District Cricket Competition. This is an ECB Premier League which is the highest standard of club cricket in the UK. The club operates four teams on a Saturday and one team on a Sunday, providing cricket for all abilities. Our Saturday teams all play in the Liverpool Gin L&DCC with our 1st XI being in the ECB Premier League. Our 2nd XI is in the 2nd XI First Division, our 3rd XI plays in the 3rd XI (Saturday) Premier Division and our 4th XI on the 3rd XI (Saturday) First Division). We also run a Sunday 3rd XI that plays in the Liverpool Gin L&DCC, 3rd XI (Sunday) First Division (South West). Our senior teams play in various cup competitions with our 1st XI playing in the Royal London Club Championship & the NatWest Club T20 national cup competitions and also the Cheshire Cup. Our 1st, 2nd & 3rd XI’s all play in their relative Liverpool Gin L&DCC cup competitions as do our Under 16’s & Under 21’s XI’s. Our Under 19’s XI plays in the NatWest U19 T20 national cup competition. The club also run a number of junior teams from under 9's to under 17's as well as hosting an extremely successful Friday junior coaching night. A special mention to Alex Watkins & Luke Jones for an incredible 221-run opening partnership for the 2nd XI. 🔥

And a shoutout to Martyn Evans, who says he’s retiring after his final game… although we’ll believe that when we don’t see his name on a team sheet next year 😆

We’ve got two Halloween events this year, so you can choose the one that suits your child best!

🧙‍♀️ Halloween Party – perfect for younger children, with party games, music, fancy dress, food & drink and a prize for the best costume.

🧟 Zombie Outbreak – for older kids who fancy something a bit scarier! A zombie hunt and chase scarefest… can they escape? 😱
