A mixture of our 1st & 2nd team players took to court last night for a pre-season friendly against Just Swifts, and took home a 62-54 win🎉

A great opportunity to get some match play in, try out different combinations and keep building ahead of the new season💪

A great final run-out and plenty of positives to take from the summer as we now turn our attention to the 2026/27 season.

Pre-season training is now underway and it’s time to put in the work, build up our squads and get ready for the season ahead💪🔥

Thursday marked our first pre-season training session and the official start of preparations for the 2026/27 season.

We’ve got lots coming up as we get ready to return to court, and we’ll be bringing you more from across our senior and junior teams throughout the season.

Our Junior’s had their End of Season Presentation last night and it was a chance to celebrate not only the achievements of our players, but also the incredible people who make our club what it is.

To all of our parents and families, thank you for the early starts, the Sunday mornings, the lifts to training and matches, and for supporting our players every step of the way. We’d also like to give a special thank you to those who volunteered as team managers, safeguarded officers and first aiders. Your contribution is invaluable and greatly appreciated.

A massive thank you to everyone who donated prizes for our raffle. Thanks to your generosity, we raised an incredible £323 for the club. Special thanks go to the donors of the TV and PS5, which certainly helped create plenty of excitement on the day! 🎟️🎉

Thank you to Slazengers Hockey Club in Horbury for hosting our presentation and helping make the event such a success.

Finally, thank you to every player, parent, coach, volunteer, supporter and committee member who has played a part in our season. Community is at the heart of our club, and we couldn’t do it without each and every one of you. Thank you for your support, dedication and enthusiasm throughout the year—we’re already looking forward to what next season holds! 💙🏐

We’ve been lucky to have great support on the benches at Saturday games, much of it from boyfriends and husbands so we invited them to training on a Wednesday for a mixed netball night! 💙🩵🤍

Not just talk for once, they put their money where their mouths were 👀 It was a very fun night though, well done to the Red team on the win 🏆🐦‍🔥
