🏒🛡️ NO MORE CAGE HANG
FIT IT RIGHT! 🛡️🏒

A properly fitted cage is essential for player safety. Take a few minutes before hitting the ice to check the fit:

1️⃣ Position the helmet
Keep it level, with the front rim about one finger-width above the eyebrows. Make sure the helmet is snug and doesn’t rock or slide.

2️⃣ Fit the chin cup
Bring the cage down and position the chin centrally and snugly inside the cup.

3️⃣ Adjust the J-Clips THIS IS CRITICAL!
With the chin cup snug against the chin, adjust the J-clips so the cage wires sit properly in the clip grooves.
❌ Never turn the J-clips upside down for a looser fit.

4️⃣ Tighten the straps
Adjust the side straps so they pull the cage snugly against the face and fasten securely.

5️⃣ DO THE FIT TEST
👄 Mouth Test: Open wide. The helmet should pull down slightly onto the head.
🔄 Shake Test: Shake your head side-to-side and up-and-down. The helmet, cage and forehead should move together - no slipping or wobbling!

⚠️ Still have cage hang?
If the chin slips out of the cup even with the J-clips and straps fully adjusted, the cage is likely too long. A shorter cage is needed. You can flip the cage hinge to move it up or down a slight bit, some have adjustable chins, then adjust the j clips to get as close as you can to the cage.

Take 30 seconds. Check the fit. Protect the player. 🏒🛡️

This Bauer Hyperlite Pro Stock goalie catcher came to us with several potential issues.

Safety is at the forefront of every repair we do. We only use industry standard or better materials. You won't get hodge podge repairs from us.

📜 Replaced internal foams and beefed up key areas including adding D3O
📜 Fabricated a new cuff piece
📜 Uncurled the plastic on the finger side. Reinforced while also beefing up the section prone to curling.
📜 Repaired and patch the damaged finger side of palm internally and externally.
📜 Installed new lacing to close the glove back up
📜 We then worked on the break of the glove, ensuring closure.

This was not a simple repair. It left in like new condition internally and a great closer of the glove.

BAUER HYPERLITE GOALIE CATCHER - PRO STOCK | POST 1 OF 2

This Bauer Hyperlite Pro Stock goalie catcher came to us with several potential issues:

⁉️ Curved finger plate
⁉️ Possible broken plastic cuff
⁉️ Damage to the finger-plate side of the palm
⁉️ Damage to the finger-side exterior

Once we carefully opened the glove, we discovered the internals were in far worse condition than first expected. Previous repair work had also been carried out, so the first step was a careful disassembly to establish exactly what could be salvaged and what needed replacing.

And as always, safety is at the forefront of every repair we do.

‼️ Critical failure of the cuff plastic, including previous attempts to repair cracked areas — unfortunately, those repairs had failed.
‼️ Poron foam disintegrating or missing
‼️ Carbon fibre layer improperly aligned
‼️ Cracks throughout the cuff foam

THE WORK REQUIRED

📜 Replace internal foams, beefing up key areas and adding D3O
📜 Fabricate a completely new cuff piece
📜 Uncurl the plastic on the finger side
📜 Beef up and reinforce the finger plate
📜 Repair and patch the damaged finger side
📜 Install new lacing to close the glove back up

This wasn't going to be a simple repair. It needed a full strip-down, assessment and rebuild of the affected areas.
