We have been drawn away to Tranent Football Club in the Scottish Cup First Round, ties currently scheduled for 3rd October.

No game this weekend, potentially a blessing in disguise given the injury list!

However it is a busy week ahead ➡️

First up on Monday our U18 lads head over to Garioch to face Inverurie Locos in Highland League East Section duty.

First team lads are back to it on Wednesday as we welcome Huntly to The Haughs.

Then on Friday its Scottish Youth Cup action as the U18s also welcome Huntly to The Haughs in First round action, its free entry so please come on down and show the young lads your support!

Then to round out the week the first team lads make their first ever trip to take on Invergordon

🔴🔵 VOLUNTEER KIT PERSON WANTED 🔵🔴

Turriff United Football Club are looking for a Volunteer Kit Person to join our Development Squads and help keep everything organised behind the scenes on development matchdays and training nights.

👕 What will the role involve?

• Preparing and organising playing kit for matches
• Ensuring players have the correct kit and equipment
• Collecting, checking and organising kit after games
• Washing and maintaining playing kit
• Preparing matchday bags and equipment
• Helping coaches with general kit and equipment requirements
• Keeping the kit area clean, tidy and organised

👤 Who are we looking for?

We're looking for someone who is:

✔️ Reliable and organised
✔️ A team player 🔑
✔️ Able to commit time around matchdays (usually Monday nights)
✔️ Happy working behind the scenes
✔️ Passionate about supporting local football

No previous experience is essential — just a willingness to help and be part of the Turriff United family.

🧤🔴🔵 DEVELOPMENT GOALKEEPING COACH WANTED 🔵🔴🧤

Turriff United Football Club are looking to add a Development Goalkeeping Coach to our coaching team as we continue to invest in and develop the next generation of Turriff United players.

Our Development Squad plays a vital role in the future of the football club, providing young players with the opportunity to develop, gain valuable experience and ultimately progress towards First Team football.

🧤 THE ROLE

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and committed Goalkeeping Coach who can help develop our young goalkeepers and support them in reaching their full potential.

The role will involve:

🔹 Delivering goalkeeper-specific training sessions
🔹 Supporting the technical, tactical and physical development of our young goalkeepers
🔹 Working closely with the Development Squads coaching team
🔹 Helping prepare players for the demands of senior football
🔹 Supporting individual player development plans
🔹 Creating a positive, challenging and enjoyable environment
🔹 Supporting goalkeepers on matchdays and throughout their development pathway

📋 REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should have, or be willing to work towards:

⚽ Entry-level Goalkeeping Coaching Qualification
👥 Children's Wellbeing / Child Wellbeing training
🤝 A positive approach to working with young players

The successful candidate will be required to meet all relevant Turriff United, Scottish FA and safeguarding requirements before undertaking the role including a PVG membership application.

📅 COMMITMENT

Training: Wednesday evenings (Turriff)
Matchdays: Predominantly Monday evenings grounds around NE Scotland.

We understand that coaches have commitments outside football, and we are looking for someone who can commit to supporting the squad around these key dates.
