Epic! Pretty RAD seeing our wax on boards shaped by the legend Tom Wegener Tom Wegener

Tom helped bring traditional Hawaiian alaia and olo boards back into modern surfing, with the likes of Dave Rastovich and Rob Machado riding his finless shapes.

Now he’s pushing things forward again with his Corky Method, exploring a future beyond fibreglass and giving foam a second life.

How it all began 🌊

A little story from our founder, Kate, on where RAD started, and why.

Growing up in Cornwall, then spending years living and working in Asia, Kate saw first-hand the impact our everyday choices can have on the places we love.

When she came home and couldn’t find an eco surf wax that actually performed, she decided to team up with a team who could.

No paraffin. No limestone. No compromise on grip.

That idea became Rad Wax and eventually, RAD.
