KIDS’ GRAPPLING — COMING SOON!

We’re excited to introduce a brand-new kids’ grappling class at Black Diamond for children aged 8 and over.

The sessions will focus on learning real skills, building confidence, improving fitness and having fun—all within a safe, friendly and supportive environment.

We said the work was in the bank. And yesterday, Team Black Diamond collected.

Four Scottish titles, several incredibly close bouts and overall 4th of 38 clubs that entered the competition. But, the results only tell part of the story….

Every fighter put their heart on the line and left everything in the ring. They competed with skill, courage and composure, and represented the club exactly as we knew they would.

A great day for us as a club, a team and a family.

A huge thank you to all the parents and supporters who travelled, encouraged every fighter and backed the team throughout the day. Your support never goes unnoticed.

Today’s the day.

11 juniors. 2 adults. One very well-prepared team heading to the ISKA Scottish Open.

The hard rounds are done, the work is in the bank and now it’s time to collect.

Black Diamond are coming ready. 💎

And just like that…the six weeks have flown by!

What an amazing group this has been. From the very first session, everyone brought a brilliant attitude, real commitment and a willingness to step outside their comfort zone and learn something new.

But most importantly, together you created exactly what we hoped for, a safe, welcoming environment where everyone could have a laugh, get a little fitter, build confidence, learn new skills and meet some great new people along the way.

For coaches Chris and Logan, it has been an absolute pleasure spending these six weeks with you all. Watching everyone improve, grow in confidence and support one another has been incredibly rewarding.

You should all be very proud of what you’ve achieved, we certainly are! 👏🏼
