Dear members, Andy MacNab our club Secretary has made the decision to step down for family reasons. In the meantime Rob Steele will pick up on the post temporarily.

Seniors News :As the outdoor season comes to a close time to ready up for another fun indoor season here at E.L. And can I invite any bowler over 60 who would like to get involved and represent E.L in the Scottish league competition held predominately on Wednesdays (11am) to attend game/trial followed by a quick meeting on
Wednesday 16th September 9am-11am
(Wee reminder The seniors league is open to Ladies and gents)
For those not available to attend but would like to be considered a sheet will be up shortly on the seniors board first games on 23rd September (el have 2 Teams in league)

All pre Xmas Leagues are now on Bowlr with the exception of the Top 4. This will be online in the next day or two.

We hope you are all enjoying your summer and looking forward to returning to indoor bowls next month.

We are pleased to announce we will be accepting membership payments, as per the AGM the 2026/27fees are as follows:

Full Member £78
Parkinson’s Group Members £55
Youth Membership £ FREE (£40 if playing adult competitions/evening league)
Locker £2 (£5 deposit for new locker)

We will be taking membership payments in person in September, on 8th, 9th and 10th between 10.00 - 12.00 in the morning and 18.30 to 20.30 in the evening. Members can also practice during these opening times they wish. The rink fee is £2 per person. During these dates rinks cannot be booked and rinks will be shared if it is busy.

Members can also pay at kitchen Monday, Thursday & Saturdays 10-2.

The league fixtures will start the following week.

We look forward to seeing everyone back at East Lothian IBC.

Massive day for our club hosting the Scottish Elections Counting Station for East Lothian.

Over 200 staff to cater for plus another 150 supporters with their candidates.

Great job by the cafe staff (all 2 of them).
