When I look back at where I started compared to where I am now, I honestly don’t recognise the girl I was.

Apologies for the long post but I hope this inspires someone out there that anything is possible…

I used to be so nervous about putting myself out there. Nervous that maybe I wasn’t good enough and no one would love my content. But somewhere along the way, you guys yes you helped changed that. 🥲

You gave me the confidence to put myself out there, take opportunities and chase my dreams.

Over the last few years, this little passion of mine has taken me places I never imagined I’d be, this year alone I’ve reached 52M views on social media and I’ve had the privilege of interviewing some incredible BTCC drivers. 👏

I’ve stood in pit lanes, been behind the scenes, and you can almost always find me chasing drivers with a microphone but most importantly, I’ve been able to do what I love something I once never even thought would be possible. 🥹

And one of the things that genuinely makes me stop and think “wow, how has this happened?” is walking into a paddock and being recognised by the drivers, team members and fans!

Having drivers know who I am, come over and speak to me or recognise me for the content I create including NIC HAMILTON is something the younger me would never have believed. 💗

I’m not just a face with a camera anymore. I’m slowly becoming recognised within the paddock for what I do and that means more to me than I can explain.

I’m just a normal girl from a normal family. I didn’t grow up with loads of money or have connections in motorsport. I didn’t have a guaranteed pathway into the industry.

I just had a very supportive family, a love for motorsport and a dream. 💭

I’ve still got so much growing to do, and I’m still a long way from where I ultimately want to be. My dream is to build a full-time career in motorsport media and I’m determined to work towards that every single day. 🏁

And after reaching 50,000 followers on Instagram, I’ve decided it’s time for another goal… My Facebook community is so powerful and I’m aiming to reach 10,000 followers by 2027. 🎯

To some people that might just be another number. But to the little girl who picked up a camera because she loved motorsport and the girl who was once scared to put herself out there, it would mean everything. It would be another huge step towards the career I’ve always dreamed of.

So if you’ve supported me at any point, whether you’ve been here for years or you’ve only just found my page thank you. 🥹

You’ve given me the confidence to put myself out there to believe in myself and to chase something that once felt impossible.

I might still be a long way from where I want to be… but I’m chasing it every single day.

🥹 One day, someone might look at this car and see hundreds of names. We look at it and see hundreds of reasons to keep going.

Some of these names are still writing their story. Some sadly never got the chance to finish theirs. 💔

We never imagined we would stand back and see the TPOT and bonnet covered in hundreds of names, memories and stories.

But that’s exactly what happened last weekend at BTCC and honestly I think these photos say more than we ever could.

Look at the smiles.
Look at the names covering the car.
Look at how many people stopped.

Children. Teenagers. Parents. Grandparents. Drivers. Marshals. Fans. Complete strangers.

Hundreds of people took a moment to write their name, the name of someone they love or simply leave a message of support.

But what you can’t always see in a photograph is what that moment meant. 🥺

For some, it was simply a smile, a photo and a few seconds beside a race car. For others, it was something much bigger.

It was the feeling of finally being part of something. A reminder that they aren’t the only person who has experienced bullying or been hurt.

They aren’t the only person carrying something that nobody else can see and they aren’t alone. 💚

Because bullying doesn’t stop when you leave school as you can see in the photos many adults suffer the consequences too.

It happens at work.
Online.
In friendships.
In families.
And sometimes, the people carrying that pain are adults who have been carrying it silently for years.

That’s why these photographs mean so much to us because for a few moments, people weren’t standing alone with their experiences.

They were standing together all with one message:
WORDS DO HURT.

Every single name written onto this car is coming with us. 🇬🇧➡️🇩🇪 We’re taking the Words Do Hurt car to Germany to the Nürburgring. The most iconic track in the world! 🏁

That means every name and every person represented on this car will travel hundreds of miles across Europe with us.

We started Words Do Hurt hoping we could make a difference. Donation link will be in the comments to help cover costs of fuel, ferry and everything else.

Determined to keep helping others me and my brother wanted to take this bigger than ourselves. That’s why we’re taking the Words Do Hurt car all the way from the UK to the Nürburgring in Germany in hope to spread an important message and help people suffering all over the world 🇬🇧🇩🇪

This will be my first time out of the UK slightly nervous but very excited to be doing this for a great reason bringing every name written on the car with us!

That’s around 28 hours on the road but this journey is about so much more than motorsport. The Words Do Hurt car supporting all those who have faced bullying. This campaign was created to spread one simple but incredibly important message:

WORDS DO HURT.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen just how much these words mean to people. We’ve had people stop to share their own experiences of bullying, people add their names to the car and families trust us with stories that are incredibly difficult to hear.

The car has become more than just a promotional vehicle. It carries people’s names, stories and a message of hope. 🥹

Now, we want to take that message even further.
By driving the Words Do Hurt car all the way to the Nürburgring, we hope to reach even more people and show that bullying can affect anyone, anywhere and that nobody should ever feel like they’re facing it alone.

💔 The most difficult part of this weekend wasn’t what we saw. It was what we heard. 💔

Absolutely heartbreaking to discover just how many people around us are still carrying the devastating effects of bullying.

It’s made us even more determined to keep spreading the important message Words Do Hurt because seeing the positive impact it’s already having is something we never could have imagined when we started!

What means the most is the number of people who trusted us enough to stop, open up and share their stories with us.

Some of these conversations were incredibly difficult to hear. Stories of things people have experienced, words that have stayed with them and pain that they have carried for far too long. 🥺

Being trusted with someone’s story is something we will never take for granted.

So many people stopped simply to support the message. Fans, families, drivers, marshals and complete strangers people who had never even met us before but wanted to stand beside Words Do Hurt and help us spread something they believe in too.

Seeing the conversations this campaign is starting along with the stories it is bringing to the surface and the people it is bringing together has shown us that this is becoming so much bigger than a message on a race car.

It’s giving people a reason to talk.
A reason to listen.
And most importantly, a reminder that they are not alone.

From my family to yours, thank you to every single person who stopped us at BTCC Donington Park this weekend. Whether you shared your story, listened to someone else’s, took a photo or simply stood beside us thank you. 🙏

We stand together, because no one should ever feel like they’re standing alone.

A younger version of me would never believe this 🥹💚

Still on the way home from Donington Park BTCC, hence the late post and just trying to process what actually happened. It was honestly one of my busiest and most surreal weekends yet.

So many of you stopped me, asked for photos and to say how much you enjoy my content and that you’ve seen me on social media, which is such a pinch me moment 💗🥹

Also getting to be there alongside my brother too showcasing our Words Do Hurt car out in the paddock and watching so many people stop to support the powerful message made it even more special. 🏎️💚
