This Bank Holiday Monday, we swapped hard work for a fun-filled day out at Splashdown! 😀

At our recent community event celebrating over 60 years of the Acorn Centre, our young people put a MASSIVE amount of hard work into making the day such a success.

From running their own stalls and serving you all in the café, to helping prepare for the event, creating balloon arches, and so much more, they truly went above and beyond! 🎈👏

It was only right that we celebrated their amazing efforts and gave a MASSIVE THANK YOU to all of our young people for the time, energy and enthusiasm they put in.

A well-deserved day of fun!! We’re looking forward to many more days out!🌟🌟

From Multi-sports and walking football to table tennis and badminton 🏓 there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Whether you’re looking to get moving, meet new people, or simply have a go, come along and join in!🌟

No need to book any sessions, just show up and enjoy! Equipment will be provided if needed😀

This morning we received the incredible news that we have been successful in securing funding from the Asda foundation 😁 this is fantastic news for the centre; this funding will allow us to complete upgrades to the exterior of the building, along with a little project that will be revealed soon!
