Barton welcomed Torquay Boys’ Grammar School today with a game against the Oak's - wow was it a good game!!
Oaks into bat 1st putting up a score of 141 which I thought was a good score 💪
Nope TBGS came into bat smashing that score within 11 overs, yes 11 overs 🤯

Well done to everyone, it was nice seeing some quality cricket from both sides and a laugh too!

Today the Oak's traveled to Chumleigh cc.
The team was met with open arms from the opposition!!
What a great day of cricket from both sides, some young players on both teams and boy they all did so well and with the spirit of cricket 🏏
It came down to the last 8 balls from the Oak's just pipping past the 261 target batted by Chumleigh in the 1st innings.
Well done to all the Oak's involved, everyone played a part of the win whether batting bowling or in the field being in on a win! But I'm even more proud of how well the adult supported the younger generation because they are the future of the sport so well-done everyone 🫶🫶🫶 - Andy Meredith
